Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
We use Zoom for meetings during UAT and remote sessions for our multiple sites as well as with remote users outside of our standard office ecosystem. Most are for sub-20 person discussions using both Screenshare and Video. We are using this mostly in web development and I, however, Marketing and Sales use it as well for internal webinars with outside parties.
Pros
- Good video conferencing quality and is easy to deploy
- Lightweight system needs versus skpye lync communicator mean a responsive user interface
- Can handle large groups and has telcon features not found in some basic business messaging apps
Cons
- Make a longer screen share time for personal
- improve settings to control auto video chat
- UI can be a bit difficult to use at times.
- Quicker communication - use video and screen share on one system
- Better communication with external vendors
- Easy to deploy to new users can adopt the software quickly
- Skype for Business, WebEx Meetings and GoToMeeting
Zoom is lightweight and easy to use with external users across multiple ecosystems. Easy to share and integrate with meetings and standard business practices make Zoom a go-to solution for collaboration with IT and Marketing teams. Other systems are clunky and resource hungry, Zoom.us takes that away and lets us meet when we need to - instead of having to deal with a cobbled-together solution.
