Agorapulse

If you are an all service digital agency, then Agorapulse is probably a great solution for you - especially if you have multiple team members/people who have to approve content, and more than 4 or 5 profiles to manage. If you are a small business looking to manage your social through a third party software yourself, probably not the best option. If you are only using it for a few profiles it can be pricey, and probably gives you way too many tools. There is a little learning curve to it, so if you are looking for something simple that you can do yourself, probably look elsewhere.

Zoho Social is well suited because of robust features and functionality and a very fair price point for start-ups or small businesses looking for an effective way to proactively manage their social media presence. It is less well suited for a larger business that desires a greater level of automation from their social media platform

  • The reporting covers all the metrics you need and allows you to modify the reports as you wish by downloading them as a PowerPoint file.
  • One of the main things we love about AgoraPulse is that they seem to have high standards for their quality control and customer service. They don't roll out new features unless they work 100% and if there is an issue they are on top of it right away and with ample communication.
  • No more wondering if you've seen every comment or message. AgoraPulse's system allows you to ensure you have responded to every item no matter what the client has done on their end.

  • Also, it is perfect for collaboration with a marketing team for social media posts.

  • We would like to see integration with more social platforms, but we also understand the time consuming nature of that work...it would just be nice to have!

  • The Smart Q sometimes schedules posts too far in advance. I question the accuracy of the Smart Q because it does not seem to differentiate based on social network. Based on their recommendations, for the maximum engagement, I sometimes have to have two posts scheduled to go out at the same time.
  • I am not quite sure about their collaborate tool. I am thinking that it is for teams to discuss and brainstorm social strategies and relationships.
  • I do not find my Twitter posts being updated too often in the recent posts section. When I measure the Zoho Social reports against other vendor reports, some of the data seems to be missing. It is not within the reports themselves, but rather in their quick glance at recent posts. Again, I only found this happening in the Twitter Feed.

I think overall the computer interface is quite simple and easy, and reliable. But the mobile app is possibly the worst designed application I've ever seen for a social media management tool. It is clunky and more aesthetic than useful, with various glitches.

I have reached out for support many times, and they are always fast and extremely helpful. I have only ever had one issue that was not resolved, and the only reason that one was not resolved is that Instagram is stupid when it comes to customer service and their platform. It was an issue with IG policies, not AP. But they still did all they could to help with it. They have to make up for FB/IG sucky customer service, and they do that in a big way.

Before AgoraPulse, we were using Hootsuite for all of our social sharing. The Hootsuite platform lacked a lot of the customization that I desired and gave me little confidence in what each post would look like prior to publishing. I feel like the AgoraPulse platform is more aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, and customizable than other products that I've usesd. The customer support is also very responsive so I know any issues I encounter are quickly remedied.

I tried HootSuite but couldn't figure out how to use their software. We were looking for a tool that was much more user friendly and just made sense. There is no comparison between the two dashboards and Zoho's design far surpassed HootSuite in all categories

  • AP has really helped us grow our audience by making the execution of content sharing and audience engagement scalable. It's hard to measure the specific impact of AP, since it was implemented at the beginning of our social media efforts (which was negligible prior to), but we've seen a continued positive trend month-over-month in reach, engagement and audience size since it's implementation.
