Considered Multiple Products
Amazon Drive (discontinued)
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
If you compare based on functionality and user-friendliness, other services like Google Drive and Dropbox are better options. However, if you are simply looking for somewhere to securely and reliably host your digital files, Amazon Cloud Drive is a great option. Adding to that …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
This is about the same as Google Drive except I don't feel it's as organized or looks as nice as Google Drive does. It could do a lot more in terms of making it more visually pleasing and make it look more organize. It doesn't stack up to GitHub in the sense that it's not good …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
Less costly compared to other cloud storage providers available in the market. Amazon Drive gives us [the] option to store and backup data with less or minimal effort from dev side. [Therefore,] we don't need to hire a specific developer for that. As we plan to extend or …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
Actually I think both Box and Dropbox are easier to use and have better features for sharing files, especially if you need password security on those files, but Amazon is better for storing tons of data. Box and Dropbox are much more expensive to store a lot of files.
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
We're already inside the Amazon portal so often for sourcing, the cloud storage was an easy extension. It is included in our Prime membership so it was an easy option. Furthermore, the functionality is beyond simple, helping to sell the software internally and gain support …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
ACD has lagged behind its competition. I would like to see more space and more features. Its main strength is the Amazon support.
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
When compared to other solutions, Amazon is the dominant household name. With that said it is a bit more expensive than the competition. Namely, Google and their entry into the cloud solutions game is being priced very aggressively and in certain cases much cheaper than Amazon. …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
I use this product in conjunction with other products to store information. As a storage solution it performs as expected, it's use as a business application could be open to improvement mainly due to the lack of collaboration, lock off of files, etc. However, its photo storage …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
Amazon Cloud drive stacks up poorly against the other products with less number of options and features while having costlier plans. I would not substitute any of the other products with Amazon Cloud drive as it still has a long way to go when it comes to better features and …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
Honesty.. I would rather choose Dropbox or OneDrive over Amazon Cloud due to no mobile application or file sync. Amazon does not offer folder sharing but does offer file sharing. The only way for me to use amazon cloud drive over others is music. Amazon Cloud Drive is ideal for …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
We selected Amazon due to the large reliable brand name behind ACD and the ability of it to be nested within other services. While Microsoft and Google were strong options, we decided that ACD had a better cost and availability uptime compared to other services. Dropbox has …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
Since this was used for a class, it was mandatory to use amazon. I have not used any other cloud storage spaces for the same purpose that i have used amazon cloud for, so the comparison might not be valid. The other two services i have used from google and apple are free of …
Chose Amazon Drive (discontinued)
The other services have a better computer syncing software, but the unlimited photo and video space for a small annual fee is unsurpassed by the competition.
Google Drive
Chose Google Drive
Having the ability to create, edit, and collaborate in a real time environment is hands down what set Google Drive above all the competitors for my business. I have stored files in Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Copy, and even MediaFire. Once I was set on Google Drive, I increased my …
Chose Google Drive
I feel that using google drive is much simpler compared to the Amazon Cloud Drive. Mastering the usage of the google drive will take much less effort and time as compared to that of Amazon cloud. Though I have never crossed the free storage limit, I know that Amazon charges …
Chose Google Drive
I feel Google Drive is much better than OneDrive but inferior to MediaFire. I prefer using Google Drive, as it is much easier to use and much more secure for the sharing of various important documents. Although MediaFire provides much more storage, Google Drive is the most …
Chose Google Drive
The most indeed reason is the security provided by Google. Every other company can provide lots of cloud space but my sensitive data is the key so, secure system is my first priority.

As I am tech person i feel its very easy to use and lot of features that make it better than …
Chose Google Drive
The free plan takes Google Drive at the top of the stack, paying nothing you can store data up to 15GB. This could be really important for a startup that has to consider how to manage the initial budget. I selected Google Drive because I had already a Google account, before …
Chose Google Drive
Google's own data and a word processor is the main factor in choosing Drive. Another thing I like about Google over Microsoft is the shareable link, which is more interpretable and helps me avoid sharing the wrong link.
Chose Google Drive
Google Drive is far and away better than other products in cost and ease of use. When you add access to tools and easy collaboration, there really is no competition. Others are good for storage and sharing but not easy to collaborate in. Given the number of users Google has, …
Chose Google Drive
The ease with which allows the user to manipulate their files and share them, in addition to its simple but efficient interface makes it the preferred option.
Chose Google Drive
The Google Drive facility has no comparison. It's free, you can have it on your cell phone and you only need a connection to the internet. Everything is saved and safe in your Gmail email address. That is an advantage that other programs do not offer. That is why Google Drive …
Chose Google Drive
I prefer Google for price, speed, and brand recognition.
Chose Google Drive
Google drive effectively stands out against Amazon's cloud storage solution due to the easy to use interface, easy file management software and integration with other products. Google Drive is also effective against Amazon in terms of price, and performance reliablitiy due to …
MediaFire
Chose MediaFire
MediaFire is similar to software like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Mega and ownCloud. All of them share similar features. I particularly like MediaFire's usability because it has a smooth, simple and responsive interface. The pricing by MediaFire is also good and the …
Chose MediaFire
While Google Drive is really high end on every aspect, MediaFire can still catch up if it works on certain aspects like ease of collaboration, better security etc. The areas where MediaFire is good at are it's ease of use and free space on offer which can allow smooth sharing …
Chose MediaFire
MediaFire provides the best services among them and you can easily go for it without any second thought.

It is very affordable to use and offers high-security enhancement against the G-Drive & Dropbox.
Chose MediaFire
All four services stand well against each other from the performance and reliability perspectives, but where MediaFire falls behind is in terms of storage offered for the free user,10 GB is an acceptable storage space but is the least amount offered between all four and is the …
Chose MediaFire
MediaFire lacks big time in front of OneDrive and Dropbox. Also, [the] lack of integration with Microsoft Outlook makes it less useful. [The] low cost of MediaFire makes the companies choose it.
Chose MediaFire
All of these solutions stack up pretty well but there are some differences between them. MediaFire is very easy to use and manage files and documents. With a 10 GB you can do many things and share many documents with the team or the department which is what made us decide to …
Chose MediaFire

Amazon Cloud Drive is a fantastic backup solution for storing your digital files on the web, but if you want to manage, tweak, organize or otherwise maintain those files after they have reached the cloud, the experience immediately begins to suffer. This is especially noted when major competitor products like Microsoft and Dropbox offer similar services at similar prices, but offer far better interfaces for file management.

It is well suited for large file sharing and file syncing. Easy to collaborate the files and provide access. File encryption, some features are pretty limited like the ease of use on front end as well. Customer support can be better and improve customer loyalty. Design can be improved for easier navigation and use.

Pros

  • Amazon Drive automatically detects photos and videos in specific folders (that you choose). It will add them to Drive without any action from me.
  • There is a desktop app where you can access all of your files (in addition to web-based access).

  • Any user with access can store a file using different platforms like Android, IOS, Windows, or Ubuntu (Desktop version)
  • You can share files with any number of different users with different access rights or you can even keep it public by providing the access link and assign different rights for public access
  • You can open Excel/Word files using google software Sheets/Docs in the browser environment without having to install software like Microsoft Office etc on your Windows OS

  • FileDrop feature. This is an amazing functionality that increases collaboration among our team. People can drop files in a specific folder related to a project and we can keep it organized.
  • Mobile Apps for Android and iOS. The apps works pretty well and you can carry your files everywhere.
  • Regular and Instant Uploads - MediaFire checks for the exact same file in the cloud. If it finds it, the upload will be instant. Otherwise, it proceeds with regular upload.
  • Multiple Upload Types - Basic, Flash and HTML5

Cons
Discontinued Products
  • Less storage than Google Drive, Google offers 15GB of free space - vs. Amazon's 5GB.
  • Also, unlike with Google Drive, you can't back up your work with Amazon Drive ( I also use Google Drive, since I have a Gmail account).
  • A lot more expensive than Google Drive, which is 1.99/month...but they are more in line with Dropbox pricing.

  • Having a little bit more control and clarity over what is shared and how it is shared would be a useful improvement.
  • Could be more robust and flexible as far as assigning restrictions.
  • Google Sheets could be enhanced because Excel really is not there yet as a product with equal capabilities as there are still quite a few limitations to the functionality.

  • Download Page - When you generate a link to download some files it redirects users to a specific page where they can download the file. The page is sometimes confusing and with a lot of ads which can be a little bit annoying.
  • Customization Option - you can find a customization section in "Settings", but there are just a few things that you can really customize. Maybe improving this would be nice to allow you personalize your environment (for companies, for instance).
  • Blocked options for the free version - There are a lot of interesting options that are available just for business and pro versions. If you could at least test it before upgrading your version it would help users decide.
  • Lack of PC sync client - Would be great if you could install a PC client that would synchronize your files.
  • Problems when refreshing your files list in the browser. Sometimes it gets slow and you have to refresh the entire page to continue.

It's easy enough to use for computer users of all ages and skill levels. I am an advanced user, and I think the hardest part might be showing someone how to download and set up the app on their device if they weren't too familiar with computers, but overall it is very easy to understand.

The documents load fairly quickly and also update in real time, especially given the fact that multiple people can be using it at once. Overall great software to use for file share, storage, and collaboration. Its security is great and the user management is spot on. The only thing that makes me dock it a point is that the device management as a subset of user management is kind of clunky. It hasn't been an issue yet, but it could compromise security in the future. Overall, would recommend

It takes a few days for customer support to get back to you. Although, I have not had to use support too often. Once you get an email back, they are very thorough and work hard to fix the problem quickly. It is a really great resource and a great way to get the help you need if you're stuck. A phone call also works quickly but you have to call during specific times.

The effective google workspace using training that my organization received and was conducted by me (as a team lead of the ICT team) was mind-blowing and as a result, our staff is performing well in terms of using the application for their daily jobs than before. Now, in my institution, all teachers and all the administrative personnel are very much interested in cloud storage facilities, in previous my institution was afraid of losing all important documents in the cloud storage. But, after having received the training they are now realized that if anyone has only one google account then he or she can use 15GB of cloud storage freely and they are now happy because now it is not necessary for anyone to carry the traditional pen drive.

Amazon Drive Cloud has the advantage of being backed by one of the companies that has had the highest growth in recent years: Amazon. In short, Google Drive is better for independent users who store a normal amount of stuff. OneDrive makes more sense for businesses and teams that are doing heavy-duty storage or large-scale syncing. Realistically, though, most users will fall somewhere in between the two, where either platform would meet their needs.

MediaFire's Pro Pricing is cheaper than Dropbox, although they're less known in the industry. I trust them with important documents, and they [have] never lost a file, whereas I can't say the same about other services like theirs. Customer service is fast and friendly if you need them, and their site is very clean and clutter free, which (to me) is important.
