Workforce mobility and the rise of cloud
services is an essential part of any business, but it creates a number of
challenges for IT. Data spread across devices and cloud services, unpredictable
schedules, and varied network connections all complicate efforts to protect and
govern enterprise information.
The Druva Cloud Platform (formerly Druva inSync &
Druva Phoenix) provides unified data protection, management, and information
governance across endpoints and cloud…

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is a Microsoft Cloud subscription service that includes Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access). The software can be installed across multiple devices and ensures that users always have the most up-to-date version of the included Office applications.
Given that the company is very small with less users and scalability is possible with Druva in case needed.

At this point, being a smaller organization, we do not have the need to explore any of Druva's current offerings. When the time comes, we know right where to look. We have been more than impressed with everything we have gotten from Druva Security Cloud and their team.
Before Druva Data Resiliency Cloud we used Veeam with the cloud provider 11:11. Veeam was great and did what it needed to do BUT it left a large footprint on our production environment with setting up gateways and proxy VMs for the data. 11:11 was iLand and they were always …

We evaluated VMWare as a provider and found their dependence on IaaS or on-premises setup was a deal breaker. Being all-cloud really required that we have a cloud-native SaaS backup solution. VMWare and other IaaS and on-prem providers really could not match Druva Data …
Druva was the cost leader during our search for a cloud-native backup solution. We were pleasantly surprised with its speed and ease of use as well. We feel it was the best fit for our infrastructure.
the service and solution is costly and out of budget and hence we had to select and go with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud which was very cost efficient and was doing the intented work which was needed that to backup data and protect against cyber attacks. Backup as a service at …
Both products had good reviews and nice features. For us, Druva Data Resiliency Cloud looked like a more comprehensive solution and the pricing was better. We've been using it for 8 years now and it's been working great.

Druva was the first backup and restore company that we ever worked with. Prior to this we always backed up data on local on premise storage. This led to a lot of attacks and corruption of data. Our experience with them right from Sales to implementation to Post sales support …
In the past I have used Mimecast for the archival function which is sort of a competitor to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud in that field. Druva Data Resiliency Cloud seems far ahead in its offering from the point of view of comprehensive backup policies, flexible modification of …
While making our decision we looked at both Druva and Rubrik. We liked Druva's interface better and members of our team were more familiar with the product. Also, from a pricing and features-related point of view Druva came across as a more well-rounded solution, so we decided …
We evaluated both Druva and Rubrik during our vendor search. What made us choose Druva was the better pricing and quality of features that were vexing offered. It was a great fit for our business need of keeping our backups on-prem. The proof of concept also went really well …
While Veeam, Druva Data Resiliency Cloud and Rubrik are all great at what they do- Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is hands down the winner when it comes to being a completely cloud hosted solution. With Veeam and Rubrik, the backups sometimes get complicated because of the …

We had been using Druva for Insync (endpoints) and Phoenix (HyperV). We were using Syncovery for data on servers (NAS and FileServer backups). Syncovery started encountering errors in the automation causing our department to have to manually kick off backups nightly. When a …
Druva has an easier to use front end. the overall cost is also a factor. The support provided has been excellent. We had a detailed POC nefore selecting Druva. During the POC while Druva may have been sloghtly more expensive they provided the best package of features and …
While we like both Druva Data Resiliency Cloud and Veeam, what sets Druva Data Resiliency Cloud apart is it is much easier to deploy for O365 cloud-to-cloud backups, we didn't need any additional infrastructure, whereas Veeam wasn't as flexible with the deployment, so it was an …

Among the 3 choices Druva was 1) the most cost efficient and 2) easiest to implement and dive into. In terms of speed, Druva has proved to be faster with backups and restores compared to the others. Backup and restore speeds are faster with Druva than compared to our old onsite …
Compared to Veeam, Druva was more feature rich, easier to integrate and much less complex. Also, Druva GUI supports all kinds of workloads within the same GUI so you don't have to log into multiple portals, also the Support is 24/7 and the proof of concept was in-depth and useful.

We evaluated Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, Veeam and Rubrik all at the same time prior to onboarding, we even used Veeam before switching over to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud. The primary reasons we chose Druva Data Resiliency Cloud were the better pricing, much easier and …
While both Druva Data Resiliency Cloud and Veeam serve our purpose well, Drive provides a better ROI and service overall. We also don't experience backup failures with it, the GUI is also single and unified to use once you start getting used to it well. So I personally like …

We use Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] and it has met all of our needs. There was no further need to research it. It does all of the things that we need, excluding the patient/case manager software that use daily.

We are a cloud-only shop, so Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is a natural fit. We do not have a large Azure VM presence, so I do not know how well they play in that space. If you are not cloud-focused, I am not sure that Druva Data Resiliency Cloud's strengths will be easily seen. However, in the cloud they are tough to beat.
I usually recommend Microsoft 365 to my clients to keep them away from the Exchange server (sorry!) Our business has a lot of issues with exchange email functions and copy machines. I always recommend they download the desktop version and use the online version as needed. You never know when you will be without an internet connection, but you can usually trust your laptop will have a decent charge, and you can still be productive! Let it sync when the powers are back on - or your connection is alive.
keeps me extremely organized. It is so easy to link calendars, emails, and documents.
keeps me well connected. It is so easy to send a quick message on teams or send an email to a group (for example, my particular team within the company).
easy to use. Everything is straightforward, making it easy to find an answer to a question. There is even a search option to figure out how to do something within Microsoft.
They have more ways to improve in Analytics section and UX.
I recommend to have to integrate with the cloud storages cheaper option to store backups which would be tremendous for customers to save snapshots costs.
Love to see Druva Data Resiliency Cloud have a better rbac policy on who can trigger the DR engine.
Microsoft 365 really needs to work on protection part. In complex environment it is not reliable as compared to its competitors like Proofpoint. There are many instances where it fails to perform effectively.
In SharePoint Online the versioning feature of the document needs to be improved by Microsoft. Sometimes when we have to roll back to the previous version it does not work as expected.
In Teams messaging and app permission policies can be improved. There are some settings where we have to add a lot of things manually.
This is the second company I've brought to Druva. Just today, I was tasked with recovering a file from a user that last saw it 6 months ago. I was able to restore it in under 5 minutes of getting the request. It's really that easy.
The product is easy to navigate and manage. Setup and configuration is also easy. We did not need to pay for any additional professional services. Our account team worked with use on the integration. It was not complex or difficult to learn how to setup and use. End users also have the ability to log in and manage their own files and emails
While Microsoft 365 is an amazing toolset, its still a Microsoft product. Sadly, I think the quality control regarding updates has dropped a lot the last few years. Also, I think things like the new Outlook are no improvement. In my opinion, so many features are missing. Still they proceed to push this. Microsoft knows their suite is one of the only of its kind broadly used and because of that, in my opinion, they can pull whatever they want on the users and do that without issue.
Like any service, there are scheduled maintenance periods and unscheduled outages, however outages have been very limited and fortunately have not had any impact on our environment.
Page response in the admin center is acceptable- rarely are we waiting for data to load. Backup speeds seem fine, and restore speeds are OK considering it's likely pulling data from cold storage. It often takes 30-60 seconds for the restore to begin transferring files, but speeds are acceptable thereafter
We had an issue in my first year that took a long time to fix. The support guy was awesome, took screen shots, filled me in, was professional, but it just took so long. I do think that was an anomaly, but it certainly sticks out nonetheless. Beyond that, we've had pretty good support "relationships" with the reps. They're usually pretty prompt at getting back and quite knowledgeable. Just make sure you have your proxies updated, because that's always step 1!
Over the past 8 years of using Microsoft 365, I have noticed that they change vendors often. This always leads to a poor experience in the beginning, then levels out after some time for the company to get things worked out. As a customer, it is really frustrating because I don't have time when something isn't working to have them "look into my issue" and get back with me. They have even closed a ticket I specifically told them to keep open. Your applications are only as good as the support.
Implementation from cloud ranger to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud platform was a seamless integration experience to upgrade the policies and license for continual backup/recovery support. This may be one of the best "set it and forget it" apps for backup solutions, that also allow notifications for failures etc...
When evaluating Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, we compared it against several market leaders. After extensive testing, we confirmed that Druva Data Resiliency Cloud stacks up well against these products due to the following features: Ease of use Simple to setup & configure Eliminates up front cost, commitment and capacity planning Immutable by default Flexible configuration options Single management interface
Its very user-friendly, collaborative and efficient that boosts productivity using cloud tools. their security is strong and it provides data protection. There are regular updates that shields us from attackers too. It offers a wealth of learning resources, including tutorials, help articles and video guide to help users make the most of the application and personally upgrade their skills.
We started very small with this product, only backing up key officers' laptops. After our initial experience, we found it very easy to scale up the product to all company laptops and expand into file servers, VMWare servers, and other production-level data, like Office 365 and Teams. We found the product very easy to scale while remaining intuitive and efficient to use.
Using Druva has simplified greatly the backup process. Once fully configured to your business needs, Druva provides a fast amount of backups.
Druva has saved a lot of time for the IT team. Usually time is wasted by staff members searching for a missing email. Now, they reach out to us or use their own Druva account to locate a missing email quickly and easily.
Positively, it has increased productivity and efficiency in creating templates and being able to systemize some of the protocols we are working on putting into place.
It has been a positive as well as most individuals and companies that we associate with also use MicroSoft 365 and therefore there is no need to have formats change in our documents when they open them up using another type of program.
