I've worked with HubSpot [Marketing Hub] for six months and having all of the tools I need to write and edit website pages and blogs, post social media and send out emails is pretty awesome. There's still a lot of marketing and sales tools I don't know how or haven't had to use yet. I'm confident when I do need additional resources, HubSpot will probably have them. I'll learn to use them intuitively or easily find some training.

You can use different techniques, such as:
  • Link building to increase authority and improve rankings in SERPs;
  • Image optimization so that your content can also be found through visual searches;
  • Strategic use of keywords, especially long tail;
  • Structuring of the contents so that they can be consumed in a pleasant way to, in this way, increase the time of permanence of the users.
It is very important that each page of the website receives this work, with great attention. If your page is complex, created with specific software, it can be quite difficult to maintain this optimization correctly, even more so if the site is growing. With Magnolia this can be done in a very simple and practical way. A few well-worked minutes a day can be enough for the pages to appear in the first positions of the organic search.

Cons

HubSpot Marketing Hub

  • It is less about HubSpot as a platform and more about the app, but I wish they were able to bring a bit more functionality to the app such as being able to schedule posts. It would make trade shows much easier.
  • I wish the template designs were easier to make changes to because without CSS knowledge they can be complex to adjust. Many other sites have more user-friendly designs and this one is very rigid and sometimes hard to adjust.
  • While I love HubSpot Academy, I wish it listed out your current courses versus having to search for them. It would help remind me which ones I need to finish.

  • Besides, virtual mapping currently is playing an incredible role, and Magnolia lacks it.
  • Large folders publication is a challenge from Magnolia, and it should be strengthened and enhanced.

They have had issues with system availability over the course of days. Sometimes the system is unusable, other times updates simply take a long time to show up. It's better now but, from a reliaibility standpoint, HubSpot is not Salesforce.com yet. Still great software though.

With all the new features in HubSpot, the system can get a tad slow sometimes... That said, most of the time it is lightning fast and I have no problems. Because most of the integrations are API, they silently work in the background. I have not had trouble with lag due to HubSpot integration

The CMS also has a social media publication integrated into the article, so it is very easy to automate this action. This is not something you usually see in CMS either, since the social media editor usually performs these actions on the social network itself or with specialized tools for this action. In any case, it is good that it is integrated and automated.

Share information of value to build awareness and trust. Answer customers' questions in a transparent way to generate more qualified leads. Understand the difference between a marketing qualified lead and a sales qualified lead and put together a lead nurturing program. Your sales and marketing efforts will see significant ROI.

My biggest piece of advice for those who are implementing Hubspot is that you need to devote the time up front and learn how to use the product. Once you learn how to use Hubspot, it will be much more effective as well as much easier to use in the long run

HubSpot Marketing Hub

Salesforce and NetSuite are both great software however I believe HubSpot stacks up against them quite well. HubSpot has all of the same features when it comes to Sales Reporting, Dashboards, Follow up tasks, Note Taking, etc as the others. I would say Salesforce is more integrated, it has a lot of other features that can be used outside of sales. HubSpot can be used outside of sales as well such as marketing and customer service but not like Salesforce. NetSuite is great as well but HubSpot has been easier to navigate, train on, and use.

Magnolia has an SEO option, which focuses on paid searches, and improved ranking and it improves on digital marketing. Also, page caching is a very profound feature which Magnolia provides to us, and we appreciate and work closely with it. The documentation and templates from the program are quite effective tools. Finally, Magnolia ensures loading of the developed pages is speedy and immediate.
