Indeed is our number 1 platform that helps us fill the most jobs. We have a high success rate with them. It is one of the biggest money makers for our recruiters in our company. If we had to end a contract with any of our platforms Indeed would be the last on the list to go.

Using indeed for ongoing job needs is great as the job ad will be there for an extended period of time. The use of Indeed for a quick need-to-hire tomorrow situation has been tough. I have found that it may take a few days to gather good applications.

Its geo targeting and search features made it easy to source people from specific sites and places, also it post the jobs to various platforms at the same time. AI should be more advanced so that we can get some high position profiles because it does not work as good on the high end roles as compared to the low end roles.

Immediate response, that's what I need. I post the job, there is no waiting one day or two hours to respond to the candidates.
Gives me better visibility, better ability to choose different candidates, I've tried sponsored jobs with deal-breakers and non-deal-breakers. Sometimes is best not to have a deal-breaker for certain jobs because I might pass on a candidate I wouldn't have thought to maybe take a look at.
I've also used the instant match, I'm starting to get better at qualifying those candidates and I had a few applicants from that.

TSP Restaurant Manager in Chapel Hill, TN currently on ZipRecruiter since yesterday (9/26) and already have an inbox filled with qualified applicants.
ZipRecruiter has easy access to chat or email with admins if I encounter an issue, and it is quickly resolved, the only time I did have an issue, the response was pretty much immediate.
ZipRecruiter is attractive to both the job poster and the job seeker. Easy to navigate.

The biggest area for improvement that I see is the automatic job collapsing for posts that are coming from the same company, same title but different locations. A lot of our locations are hiring hourly team members and are within 10-15 miles of each other. This issue significantly reduces the number of applicants that we see and makes our lives as recruiters more difficult when we need to try and manage 75 locations across both concepts that are potentially hiring for 2-3 positions at a time.

They continue to improve their platform. Although sometimes adding more functions can decrease usability, Indeed is very good at adding definitions and information in a very user-friendly way. You are truly able to customize your service and job ads in a way that benefits you and your company. You also have complete control over your ad and your budget

We have a dedicated account executive AND a client support specialist, both of whom go out of their way to assist with everything from making our job ads more effective to make the billing process more transparent. Have not had to utilize support recently, but in past instances they have reached out within 12 hours to help rectify any problems or answer any questions about features and functionality. The only issue I ever had with them was trying to clarify, when they previously advertised that they posted on 200+ job boards, if that meant that your job would for sure be posted on each job board. Turns out, by the way, that they only guarantee distribution, not posting

ZipRecruiter is inferior when it comes to comparing it to Indeed. I use both because I want more platforms to advertise my job. However, I find myself obtaining more applicants from Indeed over ZipRecruiter. I don't count ZipRecruiter out, though, because every once in a while, you can find a gem in a haystack.

ZipRecruiter helped us to reaching our hiring goals for 2018. We have been able to source, exempt and non-exempt candidates, in a timely fashion for our roles in the NY Metro area.
From a cost perspective, ZipRecruiter is more affordable than others that we have used in the past. In the end the results speak for themselves and we have had better success with Zip than other job boards we have used in the past.
