I use Grammarly to make sure my communication is clear and correct, especially since we can't run over to one another's desk to clarify things in a remote working environment. It's been a great help to me personally and improved my grammar even outside of business communications.
  • Checking for misspelled words.
  • Reducing the number of words you use.
  • Suggesting alternatives to overused phrases.
  • Grammarly could be more helpful in suggesting unique adjectives.
Grammarly is amazing in an email setting where it ensures my communication is concise and clear. I love that it screens for overused phrases and suggests alternatives that I may not think of when my brain goes into email drafting autopilot. I feel more confident in the communications I send my team members using Grammarly and would advise everyone to use it.

I constantly need to write professionally, grammatically correct and convincing for my business management. Grammarly helps me accomplish all 3 of those requirements as I create blog posts, create emails for outreach or client management, compose proposals for clients, or complete the documentation of our processes. I don't know of another tool that does what Grammarly accomplishes.
  • Tone: The tool tells you the tone you are reflecting in your writing.
  • Grammarly: It's easy to find a tool that gives you spelling feedback, but the grammatical feedback that Grammarly provides is very effective and unique.
  • Education: Grammarly gives you immediate solutions and recommendations, but it also provides you education on how to write better in the future.
  • Limitations of apps: Grammarly is working on this, but right now you can only utilize it in certain applications. Being able to have Grammarly integrate into all tools would be very helpful.
  • Past tense: This is very specific, but I get a lot of feedback that I need to stop using "past tense" in my writing. I suspect I'm not alone. However, it doesn't provide clear solutions on how to correct my problem of using "past tense" as it does on other grammatical problems and corrections.
  • Price: It's a great tool, with a lot of value. However, I do feel like it's a bit expensive.
Grammarly is very well suited as a tool for using a lot of writing in business or education. My kids are even using Grammarly for their school work. Honestly, unless you are not using any writing in your use case, I think Grammarly makes a lot of sense. I initially started with the free tool and was so pleased; I decided to pay for the tool. I have not regretted paying for Grammarly and use it every single day.

Grammarly has been amazing in helping me make corrections to my grammar, misspellings, and typos for the past year now. It has really helped me write professional-looking copy for our marketing newsletters. It actually just helped me out in the last sentence! It suggested I hyphenate the word "professional-looking." It's very easy and intuitive to use.
  • Intuitive interface: Integrates well with your computer and offers suggestions via pop-up bubble when you hover over a word Grammarly has deemed incorrect.
  • Good quality, accurate software: There have been times I've sought out a second opinion from google on a suggestion that Grammarly made, and lo and behold, Grammarly and Google were in agreement!
  • I find that I get logged out of Grammarly quite frequently. It's a bit bothersome but I don't mind having to sign back in.
  • There are no other real down sides! I think the software is top notch.
Grammarly is well suited for anyone really but especially those writing copy for email newsletters, website product pages, or even copy for Facebook and Instagram ads. I do find though that when writing colloquial English, Grammarly can tend to be a bit annoying since it's trying to correct words that are unintentionally written incorrectly (i.e. - "summa time" or "whadya mean").

Grammarly is used on all written correspondence in our accounting and marketing departments. It helps address the issues of informal language and helps make corrections for users that are not entirely savvy with their spelling and punctuation. It also gives a general aura of the tone of what is written to make sure you are not being offensive or inflammatory, a common issue in written emails and texts.
  • Tone of message.
  • Spelling.
  • Punctuation.
  • Unsure of any.
Definitely on social media posts as well as written emails.

We use Grammarly in the marketing department to make sure [our] email sound right and we can cater to our audience in the right tone. I have also recommended other departments to use the product and it’s being evaluated. Grammarly is a nice tool that every marketer should use.
  • Emails
  • Webpage copy editing
  • Brainstorming
  • Non Anglo names
  • Unique company names
  • Non word applications
Well suited for mass emails and communication between departments. We use it extensively for web pages where grammatical errors need to be avoided at all costs and Grammarly helps us accelerate the entire process of making sure there are no errors in the pages. It can also be used for [requests] for proposals and other documents.

Grammarly is used for proofing marketing materials by me and my marketing team. Grammarly solves the problem of improving copywriting skills of junior members and also a fast way to do some quality control.
  • Split infinitives
  • Avoiding cliches
  • Using active verbs
  • More impactful language
  • Incorporate copywriting tips and headline ideas
  • Team collaboration on docs would be useful
  • Version control
I don’t know a better product. A fast way to raise writing standards.

Grammarly is not actively used by my organization, but I use it for my job every day! I send out a ton of emails each day, and I also do some proofreading and editing for our leadership team from time to time, so it's very important to me that my writing is professional.
  • Grammarly does a great job at quickly identifying misspelled words and offering a correction. I use so many different software applications, and not all of them have spell-checked, so Grammarly is a life-saver!
  • One of my favorite tools that Grammarly offers is feedback for how my email might be interpreted. I approve and reject a lot of items throughout the day, and it's important that I include notes. Grammarly pops up to let me know how my message might sound to a reader, and I value that a lot because I want my messages to sound solution-focused, professional, and helpful.
  • I love the Grammarly browser extension. This means [its] services pop up wherever and whenever I'm typing!
  • I really have nothing bad to say about Grammarly. The only con I can think of is that sometimes it might not pop up, but I imagine they're actively improving on that functionality.
Grammarly offers to spell-check wherever and whenever you're typing, which is immensely helpful. They also provide tips for improved grammar, which is very important to me. And of course, my favorite is their "how you sound to readers" function that pops up. This helps me double-check my messages so I can make sure they are positive, professional, solution-focused, and helpful.

Grammarly is used by every single one of our employees at my company as a way to make sure that we are being intentional with our messaging. This includes using the Grammarly add-on for email, in our Google Drive docs/sheets/slides/forms, and pretty much any other written content that we create. It ensures that our spelling and grammar is correct whenever we send messaging out, ensuring we aren't making silly mistakes that can cost us money in reprinting or making digital ads look less professional.
  • Identifies spelling issues
  • Identifies grammatical issues
  • Offers solutions for identified issues
  • Sometimes the add-on doesn't adjust when I edit the middle of a sentence
  • Sometimes the add-on graphic that appears in the bottom left of text boxes can get in the way of expanding the box (primarily an issue on Linkedin)
Grammarly is so easy to install as an add-on and then have "double-checking" your work every single time you write an email, create a document, or any other written piece of work. It's so simple and unobtrusive that there is really no situation or scenario where it would not make sense to use Grammarly.

Myself and my fellow writing colleagues currently use Grammarly (free and paid) to edit our writing for our digital editorial magazine, The Current. It helps catch small errors as well as potential opportunities to rewrite poorly written sentences. It saves our editor time and also helps educate us as we work so that we make fewer errors in the future.
  • Catch small grammatical errors
  • Teach grammatical rules for better writing long-term
  • Quickly edit work before sending editor
  • Won't make edit if Google doc is in 'suggestion' mode
  • Sometimes incorrect catching grammatical edits
Really good for a quick grammatical review in lieu of a human editor. The Google doc functionality can be a bit finicky but it's getting better and the free version works great for simple edits. Recommend getting the paid version for more stylistic and complicated grammar edits (sentence structure, etc.)

As we are [an] IT-based company, we need to communicate with buyers and customers daily through email or other communication media. It smoothens up our communications, it checks our emails and other [documents] up to the mark. It helps us to correct the misspells, grammatical errors, spellings, right words to choose. • It makes your sentence pattern more concise and highly grammatical.
  • It will definitely increase your writing skills.

  • Well, honestly It's hard to find any for me.
  • Sometimes it pressurize you to remove a word, but it happens rarely.
  • And one more thing, I think [I] couldn't understand the proper meaning of your writings.
  • Overall it is very fantastic.
In our sectors where we use so many writings, It is well suited. Let me say one thing, It is best for non-native speakers like us to have software like Grammarly. However you are an expert or not about [the] English language, It may happen to have unexpected errors. In that case, Grammarly is always there for you. It will make you smart enough to others. You can choose so many synonyms you wanted. It is very [helpful] to detect mistakes [that] are easily overlooked. Well, where it is less appropriate I don't know exactly.

I recently purchased the premium Grammarly upgrade for my company after testing the free plan for a few months. Grammarly is helping me correct English grammar and spelling for my non-english speaker employees and partners. It is helping us avoid mistakes when communicating to native English speakers, which may be viewed as unprofessional and potentially lose deals.
  • Correct spelling mistakes
  • Correct grammar mistakes
  • Detect general tone of the message written
  • Detect formality level
  • Office extension could be faster and lighter
  • License could be more flexible between different devices
  • Sometimes it falls into an infinite loop when correcting prepositions
  1. Grammarly is well suited for companies that rely on [an] efficient day-to-day English communication.
  2. Grammarly is well suited for companies with non-native English speaking employees.
  3. Grammarly is well suited for self-employed journalists, writers and copywriters.
  4. Grammarly works very well if you use Microsoft Office suite, Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge browsers.

Every person at our organization has Grammarly installed and uses it on a daily basis. We use it for emails, proofreading, and content. The free version is quite extensive which is a nice change! We love the ease of use with the Chrome extension and it works with our Google Suite as well. It's great to have the built-in editing tool for our Google docs.

It checks spelling, grammar, and punctuation, plus sentence structure. It's become a must-have for our team.
  • Potential errors are highlighted in red, making them stand out. Simply by hovering over the item, you can see the recommended adjustments and click to apply or dismiss - so simple.
  • The browser extension means I can use Grammarly while working online.
  • You can set your personal profile to the type of English you want - American, British, etc.
  • Not a great tool for those who do a lot of editing offline.
  • If you don't do a lot of writing, the cost to upgrade to premium can be steep.
  • It can be distracting when doing a brainstorming doc or rough draft before you're ready to actually look for errors!
Love the tool. It's clear, concise, effective, and easy to use - not much else you can ask for! The synonym tool has also come in very handy and helped our team to expand their descriptions when writing. I also feel that our writing has gotten clearer throughout the company.

I'm using Grammarly for personal business use. Grammarly [helps] me by reviewing my emails and messages text and make sure that I don't have any spelling mistakes and that my Grammer is proper. Grammarly makes sure to remove [embarrassment] and other issues that can be caused by sending emails and [messages] with wrong grammar and spelling mistakes.
  • Understand the full grammar of my sentences
  • Understand basic spelling mistakes
  • Understand phrase spelling mistakes
  • If Grammarly could offer parallel words it could be amazing
  • I would love to get a report of where are my most common mistakes and how to fix them
Usually, when writing business emails and messages (not only, personal emails and [messages work] well as well) many mistakes can happen. Sometimes, small spelling mistakes, but sometimes it can get to heavier mistakes such that can get the wrong meaning in English (lost in translation issues). Grammarly makes sure that it won't happen and help blocking issues.

Very good professional software tool for working professionals, students, language learners, and so on. You can easily improve your English knowledge without sparing your valuable time, instead just install the application on your mobile, or enable the extension on your browser and keep typing, Grammarly will make you confident. If you are a language learner at any stage, you must use this application to improve your confidence.
  • Easy to type without any grammar mistakes in the chat, writing mail etc.
  • Very user friendly and Improved UX.
  • Extension makes you confident and run smoothly.
  • Premium upgrade plans are bit expensive.
  • Sometimes the extension is not loading properly.
  • Punctuation mistakes are not corrected always.
Grammarly is well fit for those who want to learn/improve their English level at its best. The application must be introduced to the language learning schools like Japanese to English, Chinese to English, etc. I don't feel the application is less appropriate for those who are strong in English because it corrects even their typos.

We use Grammarly in my department and it has been very helpful in supporting the creation of marketing collateral. Any internal or external/client-facing communication that we create is reviewed through Grammarly. Its premium features enable smooth collaboration within the team. I find its company style guide feature very useful for streamlining communication within the team. Plus it does not cost much compared to the benefits it offers.
  • It eliminates grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • It makes every sentence concise and easy to follow.
  • It finds vivid words to enliven each and every message.
  • It automatically chooses the right tone and formality level.
  • You can create a company style guide to keep every team member’s communication clear and on brand.
  • Grammarly integrates seamlessly with your workflows across platforms and devices.
  • Grammarly works with the tools you use today: web browsers, email clients, Microsoft Office tools, and more.
  • Sometimes it gives silly suggestions. There is definitely room for improvement in its AI and algorithm.
  • You may feel that it is obsessed with the article "the". It keeps suggesting to use it even when not needed.
  • Even if you mark a suggestion as incorrect, it does not learn from it. Such a learning feature can be super helpful.
I will recommend Grammarly to everyone who needs help with streamlining communication and messaging. It works really well when, even after manual proofreading, we miss certain errors and omissions. It can work as an assistant editor for you. However, I would not recommend completely relying on this application, as it can also give out irrelevant suggestions. But anyone with a decent command of written communication skills can easily identify and ignore such irrelevant and incorrect suggestions. If your written communication skills are average or below average, then I would not recommend using this tool, as it can hurt your learning process and also misguide you with certain suggestions.

At this time it is individual members who have chosen to use Grammarly on their own but management is looking into getting the business version to be the standard for our customer service departments. Having correct grammar and spelling is very important in communications with customers to keep a professional appearance.
  • Autocorrects some obviously misspelled words.
  • Highlights words it has not auto corrected and offers the correct spelling.
  • Catches capitalization and punctuation errors.
  • Offers optional rephrasing to correct grammar or to make the sentence less confusing or less redundant.
  • Since it catches all spelling mistakes (as well as capitalization and punctuation) I do not know why it only auto corrects some errors.
Grammarly is well suited anytime you are digitally writing. I use it for when I am communicating with customers at work over chat and email. I use it for email communications with everyone I email at work or from home. I use it when typing a novel I am working on. Anywhere you could use help with spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar while typing.

I use Grammarly on a daily basis at work and in my personal life. I am in charge of a lot of copy-heavy projects that include email, website copy, graphics, and more and therefore need to make sure spelling and grammar are on point. I have always struggled with grammar and spelling and Grammarly helps me by not only correcting mistakes and making suggestions but it's teaching me along the way.

  • Makes suggestions
  • It can be a little slow sometimes.
  • Doesn't always work on some sites.
  • I can't think of any more at the moment.

I use Grammarly mainly for proofreading and editing purpose. It is integrated with the mailbox and Google doc which makes it very easy for the writers and editors to proofread and improvise the content.
  • Spelling check
  • Grammar check
  • Sentence formation
  • Integration with other tools
  • More intuitive with the content
  • Phone application isn't very smooth to use
While writing emails, creating documents, especially with the marketing department where content work happens day in and day out. If the platform can also provide templates for writers to pick and choose and improve on those styles, that will be a value added. For eg. Templates for press releases, case studies, ebooks etc.

Grammarly is used mainly by the content writers at Meetanshi and the support team.
Correct grammar and spellings use is important when we offer chat support to the clients. Humans are likely to make mistakes and so are team members at Meetanshi. But Grammarly comes to our aid.
Also, the content writers at Meetanshi make it a point to check the piece of article to avoid any mistakes before it is posted on the site.
  • Spelling mistake correction.
  • Punctuation mistake correction.
  • Sentence structure recommendations.
  • Plagiarism is not detected correctly.
  • The chrome extension can be improved.
  • GUI can be made better.
Grammarly is well suited for articles with medium length but not for technical blog posts or a 1500 words post.
