What is Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud?

Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud provides a solution for organizations' IT security needs, blocking ransomware, file-less malware, zero-day attacks and other emerging threats. Kaspersky’s cloud-based approach helps users to work securely on any device, and collaborate safely online, at work or at home, from remote offices and in the field. The cloud-native console means the organization's security can be managed from anywhere, any time.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud aims to promote safe cloud adoption, with Shadow IT Discovery and protection for MS Office 365. When starting, there’s no need to set up a server or configure security policies, and users are protected from the instant they’re online.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) is a key part of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud for providing visibility, and an automated response to threats. Adaptive Anomaly Control (AAC) with web, application and device controls efficiently hardens the system and minimizes the attack surface.

Ultimately, Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud helps SMBs to spend less time managing their IT security so they can focus on other high-priority business issues with the knowledge that their business is protected against known and evasive threats.

Performance: 8/10Reasoning:Endpoint Protection: Kaspersky excels in providing robust endpoint protection, swiftly detecting and neutralizing threats. The real-time scanning ensures that malicious entities are intercepted before causing any harm.Resource Efficiency: While generally efficient, there is still room for improvement in terms of resource consumption. In resource-constrained environments, there might be a slight impact on system performance, particularly during scans or updates.Cloud-Based Management: The cloud-based management is a significant advantage, allowing for centralized control and monitoring. However, there's always potential for refining the user interface to enhance the overall user experience.Integration: Kaspersky integrates well with other software, but in highly complex environments, there could be slight performance implications. This is an area where continued optimization could provide an even smoother experience.Report Generation: Reports are generally prompt, but in scenarios with extensive data or complex analytics, there might be a slight delay. Improvements in reporting speed could further enhance the solution's usability.User Interface: The user interface is intuitive, but simplifying certain aspects could make it more user-friendly, especially for those who are new to cybersecurity management. In essence, Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud performs admirably, meeting and often exceeding expectations. The rating reflects the solution's effectiveness in safeguarding the digital realm, with room for incremental enhancements in resource optimization and user interface refinement.

KES Cloud - Best security tool, for the cost, performance and administration.

Performance on console online works great, there had been some small latencies for a couple of minutes once every 3 or 6 months but the service is always running unless there's a scheduled maintenance for upgrades. Heart Beat (communication) between cloud and End-users is fair within a 15 min standard time review (which can be changed), it's not as fast as on-premises but considering the technology it's just what's needed, as long as is properly configured. Programs connected to KES Cloud have not been slowed for collaborating.

Great platform and performance.

The pages can load quickly but it takes a long time for detection to show up in the cloud, takes up to 10.
