Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

8x8 X Series is being used by our organization in for sales, support and billing. We have extensions for sales, support, and billing plus main number and 800 number. We use SMS for sales and support. We use App exclusively on Computers and phones.

  • Speed of solving support issues.
  • Contacting a live support person.
  • Cut our cost from legacy system by 200 %.
  • Mobile Employees are never out of touch.
  • Reacting to customer needs greatly improved.
8x8 is an easy solution to implement for a small company. Using App with SMS, employees are never out of touch an can respond instantaneously..

Ease of setting up extensions and voicemail. Desktop and iPhone App. Incoming calls ring on iPhone. Push notices and email notifications of voicemails. SMS functionality on extensions has become a large part of communication channel.

Evaluating 8x8 Work and Competitors

Yes - Vonage. 8x8 had more PBX functionality and was moving ahead on improvements much faster than Vonage

Cloud solution means No hardware cost. This is a huge savings from previous solutions.
I would have explored more options in the market
