Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

ActiveCampaign is being used across the whole organization. We use it for all our email automation and our clients' automations. Email campaigns, flash sales. It's very simple to use, integrate and track your campaigns' performance.

Cons

  • The email editor could be improved. It's slow sometimes and the CTRL Z brings you the previous versions of the email instead of just undoing what you just did, which slows you down.
  • Some UX when creating automation could be improved as well for a faster view of email subjects and pretexts.
  • The money is on a monetized list, and ActiveCampaign has given me the tool to do it.
  • It has allowed me to store and contact my subscribers providing news and offers.
  • Seamless integration with WordPress allowed me to quickly embed the forms I needed on my websites and clients' websites.
ActiveCampaign is an all-in-one platform. Over Mailchimp, I prefer how the automations are configured and the easiness of combining them into multiple workflows. Over GetResponse, it is the overall preference.

I would not use it as a CRM replacement. I would use it for all email automation. If you are a small business, you can take a lot of advantage from their lowest tier and upgrade when you start getting results. Their WordPress integration (plugin required) is very good, and also as embedded HTML code.
