Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We currently utilize ADP Workforce Now for our HRIS system, payroll, benefits, and time and attendance.
  • The reporting feature is easy to use and offers customization.
  • ADP struggled to store and automate our pay rules and processes.
  • ADP's performance platform was cumbersome inefficient.
  • There are several manual processes that ADP has not been able to automate. For example, the employee data fields on an employee's record are all manual fields. If an employee transfers jobs/departments/locations/supervisors all data must be manually changed individually.
  • Many features have not been automated, therefore we are still completing manual tasks.
Within the last year, we purchased ADP's Advanced Time and attendance system with the hope that the newer "advanced" system would work better for our organization. We have continued to have issues, problems, and errors.
  • Cornerstone
We were able to integrate Cornerstone with ease.
We tried ADP's performance platform and it failed for us. We now use Cornerstone for performance management.
We have struggled to automate our HR process with ADP.

Using ADP Workforce Now

100 - Human Resources, Finance, Management, and Scheduling
We have 3 practitioners who are skilled to work within the system, however we contact ADP support for questions/concerns.
  • Time and Attendance
  • Payroll
  • We have been able to streamline some of our processes
  • There are other modules to explore, however we have found that the modules do not read into one another efficiently.
Although we have been utilizing ADP for a number of years, the more work and processes that we want to leverage within ADP have failed. The different modules (Time and Attendance specifically) do not read into Payroll and Workforce Now so we still have manual work processes which is counterproductive. Each module that we have tried to implement and leverage has shown limitations.

Evaluating ADP Workforce Now and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
We have been using ADP for a number of years and I was not involved in the implementation and review process.
Since we have had ADP for many years, I think we have grown and evolved over time. With that comes changes in processes and workloads. The more work we try to streamline within ADP the more we find limitations and roadblocks within the system.

ADP Workforce Now Implementation

Change management was a minor issue with the implementation
  • Inconsistency of information/training through out implementation

ADP Workforce Now Support

I have found that our assigned representatives aren't fully trained within the system, they are only trained in certain areas. If we have questions about a certain module, we have to reach out to our representative and then be transferred to another specialist. This process can be timely and we typically never know the status of our question.
ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Good followup
Not kept informed
Escalation required
Yes - From time to time the reporting feature sometimes has a bug. With reports that I use frequently, I have found that I need to refresh or draft a new report to keep the data correct.
We did have one representative visit our company and spend 2 full days dedicating her time to help us walk through the system. Although we are already familiar with the system after using it for many years, she was able to help us clean up a few things and suggest improvements. This was the only time that I can recall having direct support from someone who knew each aspect of ADP Workforce now. I felt she went above and beyond to answer our questions and provide feedback.

Using ADP Workforce Now

The system works fine for basic functions.
ProsCons
Technical support not required
Quick to learn
Convenient
Feel confident using
Unnecessarily complex
Not well integrated
  • Recruitment
  • Benefits
  • time and attendance
Yes - We use the mobile app for our employees to check their paystubs and update their personal information.
