Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Our entire organization uses ADP WFN. We use payroll, time and attendance and human resources.
  • Time and Attendance module is very easy for employees to use to keep accurate records of their worked time, time off, etc.
  • Accruals for vacation and sick leave are automated and balances are available for employees at all times.
  • The integration of time and attendance and payroll makes processing payroll much easier.
  • I love the ability to immediately review the payroll data before submitting it to ADP for final processing.
  • Adjusting approved PTO hours on the time card is difficult. Once a time off request has been approved, you cannot change the number of hours without deleting the request and replacing it.
  • When adding a new employees, I would prefer to walk through each screen to ensure that all information is entered rather than having to go back to individual screens to add information that was not included in the new hire screens. i.e. Emergency Contact info, Seniority date, etc.
  • Negative impact would be the cost. ADP WFN is a significant cost to the business. Other systems are less expensive and could potentially provide the same service. However, our confidence in ADP to accurately provide the services is why we are willing to pay the higher cost.
  • Positive impact would be the ability to process all payroll, taxes, garnishments, etc accurately.
Our previous experience with ADP was the deciding factor in selecting WFN. Some of the other products were less expensive for the same types of products, but would have required establishing relationships with other vendors to provide some of the services that are included in WFN.
I think WFN could be used in any office scenario, but probably would not be cost efficient for very small offices.
