Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use ClickUp as our company wide Project Management tool for all administrators, operations, HR, finance, and accounting teams. We've integrated ClickUp into almost every data and project aspect of our business from keeping track of new projects, data lists, status updates for client data, and new client projects to reception team's VM log, HR tasks like termination checklists, and employee order notification automations.
Pros
- Provide ease of use for building workflows
- Various options for list types and status creation make it easy to stay organized between projects
- They are constantly providing updates and features to make the platform more robust
Cons
- There are not as many customizable options for what can be automated
- The system updates are not always announced so sometimes it can be difficult to know where certain buttons are now located
- There is sometimes a delay when you move a task or make a change so you have to refresh after doing so
- ClickUp has saved us so much time trying to keep track of multiple pieces all being juggled at once
- ClickUp has definitely made it easier for our teams to cross-collaborate
- ClickUp has made it a little difficult to custom automate certain things but overall has definitely helped with workflow creation
Our collaboration has definitely improved overall. Not just within each team or department but from a cross-collaboration standpoint. Accounting is able to get real time details and updates from operations, HR is able to get real time updates from account and operations, as well as made it easier to provide report updates to management.
We have been able to simplify productivity by using one project management platform versus the 3 we were using before to keep track. We now are able to have data automatically flow to other lists, reports, and teams without having to have someone pull it and re-enter it. ClickUp has allowed us to have cross collaboration thus completing tasks faster since there are less steps.
- Asana and Google Sheets
We selected ClickUp for the cross collaboration, functionality, plus cost affordability. Google Sheets allowed for data tracking and team projects however it does not have notification abilities and workflow automations. We are able to streamline updates, data, create workflows/automations, and provide our teams with one communication platform without breaking the bank.
