ClickUp Review For Marketing Agencies
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use it for our marketing agency to consolidate all project management, strategy docs, knowledge base, and everything else in one place.
It's helped to solve the issue of having to switch to tons of different tools/platforms when now we can have it all in one place for internal and external client-facing folders. This helps a lot for client experience, and also for keeping things like strategy docs, dashboards, context by client account, and other things in easy to find places.
The integrations, like with Slack and Fireflies, are also great for auto-creating tasks from meeting notes and for pushing notifications about task and project updates to Slack.

Pros
- Consolidating docs & context in one place
- Integrating with other platforms to keep everything in one place but be able to push notifications and updates (or tasks and docs) to other places.
- Monitoring project and team member performance and timelines.
Cons
- The AI could be better at giving insights.
- Better explanations for new ClickUp users to increase team buy-in since this is usually the most difficult part of switching to ClickUp.
- More customization options with the integrations.
- It has increased client satisfaction by using external facing private folders and increased client retention
- It cuts down on time needed to coordinate context and resources for projects since it can all be in the Docs or the task descriptions/comments.
- It's helped to get projects completed more quickly and better since tasks can be assigned with due dates.
It's improved a ton by allowing us to collaborate inside of one tool instead of like 50 different ones, and also for managing projects with dependencies. It also increases coordination between the creative department and ad channel departments through forms that then auto-send to Slack and are assigned to the right people with all the needed info and context.
It makes it to where we don't need to use multiple project management tools since ClickUp can do all of it in their platform, and then using task and list templates has helped speed up and automate client onboarding and recurring tasks and projects. It also reduces Slack DMs by being able to just coordinate on tasks comments.
- Notion, Copper and monday.com
ClickUp can do basically all of the various things those tools can do, but in one platform that's more intuitive and has a lot more integrations so it has the potential for way more use cases and to solve more problems depending on how advanced you want to get with it.
