Overall Satisfaction with Gong
We use Gong integrated with Salesforce. Our day to days within Gong include pipeline tracking and call recording with AI. It's a great tool to utilize after meetings which the AI helps generate highlights and follow up emails to the client or prospect. It also helps pull up data regarding any risks in the deal or even details for MEDDIC.
Pros
- Pipeline and forecasting
- Call recording and VOIP
- AI - email follow ups
- AI - ask any question regarding the deal and if it was spoken during any interaction, it will pull it up.
Cons
- the integration with Salesforce sometimes has a delay
- the accounts and contacts could be linked better
- when pulling up some of the analytics, it would be nice to have areas to click and not just static
- Time - helps us save time and not have to write notes and create follow up emails
- Connection during our calls - I used to have to write notes while listening and speaking. Now Gong can summarize this for me so I can focus on key points
- Better Forecast - you can see how engaged leads/opportunities are. If there's no activity, you can see the likelihood of that deal NOT closing and vice versa.
It's helped us make sure we always stay on topic with our follow up meetings or calls. We can review the summarized AI insights from previous calls and ensure we can touch base on those topics. This helps us stay accountable for what was discussed, but also helps ensure we stay on the same page with our leads.
It's helped create insights where we know our competitive landscape a lot better. It helps with 'trigger words' where if a lead says our competitors name, we can quickly review what was said which helps us because sometimes we just let it slip through a handful of items being discussed in that meeting.
