Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

It's helped us automate and schedule social media posts without having to pay for an expensive subscription. We're just a single company, so we don't need something robust, but the free features of Hootsuite meet our needs nicely. The free version is perfect for smaller teams, freelancers, startups, or small businesses.
  • UX/UI
  • Few technical issues
  • Great free features
  • More accounts per free plan would be nice
  • Pulling in images can be finicky
  • Previewing posts isn't seamless for certain channels
  • Financial savings on social media software
  • No need to hire a social media specialist
  • Improved efficiency
It's extremely easy to set up and get going with Hootsuite. I've used other free tools like TweetDeck and they're serviceable, but don't have the features of a bigger platform like Hootsuite. Other solutions that are comparable are expensive. For example, HubSpot and Semrush are exceptional, if you can afford them.

Do you think Hootsuite delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Hootsuite's feature set?

Yes

Did Hootsuite live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Hootsuite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Hootsuite again?

Yes

The free version of Hootsuite is ideal for smaller companies, individuals, and freelancers who are dealing with only one to three accounts. The free version isn't ideal for larger companies, agencies as businesses with multiple accounts. I'm sure the pro version is ideal, but the cost factor will need to be considered.

Hootsuite Support

I haven't had to use the support feature for Hootsuite. So that's a good thing! Any social media tool (or marketing tool in general) that doesn't require you to contact customer service either has a good UX/UI or a large library of resources to point you in the right direction.
