You wont regret implementing Insightly
Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
I am a Management Consultant and I work across many CRM's including Insightly. One or my clients in the Construction Industry uses Insightly for Account & Contact Management, Customer Service, Sales Opp Managment including tenders and Project Management. This includes use of reports and dashboards.
Pros
- Dashboard creation
- Opportunity Management
- Overall ease of use with customisations
Cons
- Dashboards - you should be able to click on the data and be taken the source data in a table format
- Professional to Enterprise version costing - its a huge jump in price - when all that is typically needed is more dashboards and record storage
- Related fields ability to add more columns i.e. Contacts related to an Org - add new fields/columns in the related view
- Local to Australia support for urgent issue help.
- We don't need a dedicated Insightly expert on staff - just an internal super user.
- Doing a detailed analysis of why we win and lose opps is helpful for refining how we direct our product and design teams.
- Team members all know what is going on with Organisations we interact with, so there is less animosity between teams due to the visible data.
My client doesn't use the Insightly Marketing or Service platforms. They built a service module as a custom module and they use an external Marketing platform. Workflows & performance on Opportunities and Projects are easy to optimise as its easy to see where issues with workflows and performance need work. It literally takes two seconds to update a workflow!
- HubSpot CRM, Mautic (open source), HubSpot Marketing Hub, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce CRM Analytics, Salesforce Lightning Platform, Vtiger and Sugar Sell (SugarCRM)
I wasn't involved in the selection of which CRM my client chose. Insightly was already implemented when I started working with my client.
