Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We have used phishing campaigns exclusively at our College. We try to do quarterly tests, but these tend to occur during the school year as most faculty are on 9-month contracts. We have been increasing the complexity of the templates in use and have recently added custom templates. These have proven to be significantly more effective at enforcing the message.
  • The campaigns are easy to set up and use.
  • Smart groups make group management more simple and effective.
  • The training modules are well done.
  • We have struggled after our migration to online Exchange. The technical support could have engaged better to resolve the issue faster. We lost significant time on our agreement because they couldn't get to the heart of the issue.
  • People are significantly more engaged in reviewing email than pre-KnowBe4.
  • The phish alert button is used extensively.

Fresh content is vital as it keeps people engaged and prevents people from feeling like - been there - done this before.
If user management means adding/removing users, this is done via active directory sync. Most of our testing is done with All Employees, so this works for us.
Failure rates. Our percentage of clickers is still too high. I would like to see this below 1%, but typically see 5% failure rates.
I would raise this rating had they not struggled with supporting our issue of running campaigns after our move to online Exchange. We lost significant time against our contract. Other than this issue, we have not needed technical support.

Single sign on is a key feature that helps product usage. Active Directory integration is critical to add/remove users. Without these, this product would likely not be in our environment.

See my previous experience with technical support. When we moved email to online Exchange, we had issues delivering test emails for a very long time. This is time lost against our agreement and frankly, no one seemed to want to dig into the root cause. Ultimately it was an extremely easy fix and has worked well since. This is our only occasion to use support.
