Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

We use litmus daily to proof how our emails render across devices, ensuring visibility of Dark mode/ light mode render, font accessibility and overall legibility.

Pros

  • Renders across email clients
  • Renders across devices
  • Provides previews across different preferences settings including dark mode

Cons

  • Would be great to be able to re-generate previews as sometimes screenshots are taken too quickly and tiles haven't been given a chance to load
  • I would love to have insight into the most used esp's and let that guide which devices i choose to load renders on
  • time spent through out the QC process
  • Being able to look back on old tests and reflect on development
  • trust that our email send standard is up to scratch
no, we do not currently use the SFMC integration of Litmus.
We normally use our send platform to generate reports as it has a deeper view and insight into our segmentation and send strategy
We have used the timer render, this isn't always consistent with how it renders across all esps so we've been less eager to use it on a consistent basis
Its a great tool to be able to share how emails and final tests render with our agencies and vice versa. Its also great to be able to reference how changes in email renders have taken place

it was very straight forward to learn how to use as we have a very simple use case for how the tool integrates within our workflows

Litmus Reliability

I'm unsure how we would scale this further than the use cases we already utilise it for
Its generally very reliable, i've come up with some problems before where some device renders are 'logged out' so i can't see them but this is managable
it does a great job for what we use it for

Integrating Litmus

We have not integrated litmus, the cost a SF integration does not justify the usage

They do support, at a high cost
The price for SF integration is very high when the solution to simply send the test to the litmus browser is very straight forward and simple

Relationship with Litmus Software

He is very kind however the interactions seem very generic and unpersonal

  • We have been testing the usage of personalisation
  • we upgraded due to hitting our limited with the max number of sends
