Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor

LogicMonitor is being used in our datacenters to provide an in depth overview at a glance and also granular alerting to specific events within our environments.
  • Great granularity.
  • Robust monitoring for all types of devices.
  • Easy to understand dashboards.
  • On-boarding is cumbersome.
  • Steep learning curve compared to other products.
  • Ease of use is not even considered.
  • Proactive alerting of issues keeps us from playing defense all the time.
  • Cost is rather high for such a product.
LogicMonitor is not the easiest thing to set up but once it is up it never fails. Alerts always work, false reporting is very very rare.
LogicMonitor support has never failed to accommodate a request, or helped our organization overcome an obstacle in our monitoring.
We monitor multiple datacenters across the Midwest in what would be considered a private cloud infrastructure. Our devices range from Linux and Windows Servers along with multiple variations of Hypervisors, both Hyper-V and VMware.
LogicMonitor is easy to get going, if you just want to find all your devices and get mountains of data. But to really adjust the alerts, and what matters to your environment takes time and patience. Lots of support calls.
LogicMonitor is great for network monitoring, providing in depth reports on all aspects of a firewall.
