Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As part of our integrated services with Microsoft, it was a cost-effective way to manage projects remotely and between two campuses.

Better notifications setup to avoid missed messages.
Make it more robust while separate from the entire suite of MS products
More integration with non-MS products.

Integrated plan with Office 365 saves money.
Ease of onboarding new members.
Increased workflow.

For an app that is integrated with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, it's nice to have. That said, there are many alternatives out there with the same or more robust options if you aren't tied to packaging everything together.
