Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is imperative to bring our international business together to solve problems and create alignment on business outcomes. We run Big Room Planning, Retro's, Ideation workshops, Team Chartering's, the list goes on. We have staff all over the world and Miro brings us all together in one space.

All staff are onboarded when they start - we currently have 700 users on an Enterprise account. We have a number of business coaches who run a number of these workshops with teams and a few of us who offer more technical support to get you up and running and seeing the potential of Miro for whatever your need.
  • Responsive
  • Easy to use - very adaptable for your needs
  • Template ideas if you're stuck
  • Easy connection into other products we use - Jira, Confluence etc
  • The licensing is confusing and who can see what boards - would be good to better understand the best way to make a board private (especially as we have 700 users and the default which a lot of people don't know about is everyone can see their boards)
  • Where possible try and keep it as simple as you can. I have heard feedback that you're making it overly complicated with lots of new add-ons etc. Ensure these are true to the product and the brand not just a fad
  • Break out rooms and connecting into MS Teams - this doesn't seem to be an option for Teams yet. There is also an on-going bug btw Teams and Miro when you embed a Miro board in a channel or a meeting where it won't show
  • 100% increased transparency of information and clarity of roles and responsiblities and decisions to be made
  • Because of the above, has sped up projects as teams are better aligned from the outset
  • Clarity on why a team exists
  • Easy tool to visually describe something - where words aren't enough
Integrates well with most of our products - Confluence, Jira.

On-going issues with integration with Teams though (as previously mentioned)
Huge impact. It has actually been a game changer for live and even async collaboration which was previously done via PPTs/Words in a folder system and versions got out of hand etc meaning often information was old or incorrect as someone was looking at the wrong version.
The level of integration btw Miro and the other products we use has been a huge factor. The ease of use and the depth of capability in the product. We already has a large number of users in Miro already (and a number using other products) so this was predominately a streamlining/consolidation of tools decision to go with Miro, plus the licensing was a better fit for our needs.

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

- Bringing the international team together to solve a problem together
- Collating information in a digital format where previously it would have been manual and created a whole heap more manual work to share
- Speeds us up - i.e. having Retro's all in one place, makes it easy to copy for a new one and look back on previous discussions
