Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely

Optimizely is being used primarily by our Digital Marketing org for testing the success of new features and components on Salesforce.com.
  • Tech support.
  • Great WYSIWYG.
  • Reliable results.
  • Larger footprint than IT is happy with (Slower Page Speed).
  • Conflicts between varying running experiments and our current tech stack running.
  • Content flash (Page loads then changes in front of user).
  • Money saved on testing feature success before implementation.
  • Proving grounds for design ideas.
  • Great online community and research from articles and documentation.
I was part of a formerly acquired (smaller) company that used Optimizely Classic and found that Salesforce's move to Optimizely X was seamless.
I come from more of a technical background, but found that many users from varying backgrounds were able to pickup and use Optimizely with almost no hiccups.
We're able to build features/designs outside of Optimizely and drop them into the dev tool with almost minimal effort.
Optimizely has loads more out of the box, such as heat mapping! And integrates with Demandbase great!
Suited for smaller A/B testing variations - Not suited for larger changes to page(s).
