Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom has been used department-wide for time tracking and record keeping for employee attendance, work scheduling, and compensation. My usage was via their Android phone app. It's a logical, easy-to-use, one-stop-shop for a great majority of HR-related resources, except healthcare-related benefit information.
  • Usable anytime, 24/7.
  • No constant app updates.
  • Data is able to be downloaded in many common formats, ie pdfs, docs, etc.
  • Information is only as valid/up-to-date as sources from HR data sources.
  • No hotlinking (ability to call/text) for follow-up on data source information.
  • No phone app to pc functionality.
  • 24/7 availability.
  • End-user self service.
  • No constant app updates.
  • Paycom is leaps and bounds better than Workday.
  • Paycom is available as a continuously connected phone app, [and] Workday is a heavyweight pc based application that is not cross-functional with a phone app.
  • No downtime or very little downtime during data refresh with Paycom, whereas lengthy weekly downtime for Workday (weekends).
  • [There is] extensive training required for Workday, [but with] Paycom, most training is available within [the] app, in easy to follow, simple example based format.
  • Project tracking.
  • Multi week/month/year employee compensation.
  • Time management, including holiday and weekend time.
  • Downloadable user training and manuals.
  • Usable via phone app, hence usable from anywhere that has standard cell service or wifi.
  • In 1 full year of usage, not one occasion of downtime.
  • All in-app data that is input is easily searchable.

The Paycom app is a one stop shop for an overwhelming majority of employee resource needs; no longer does one need to reference multiple systems, each in its own format, to determine expense management, time/project tracking, vacation/holiday scheduling and compensation information; including tax, locality and direct deposit. User guides are also readily available for download within app.
In a full years use, no downtime was experienced. For any questions about time sheet posting or holiday scheduling, point and click to a contact was available, by email or by phone; very very easy and simple to use.
As a phone app, Paycom is available 24/7, any data that is incorrect or inconsistent can be updated in app and feed to the data source system.
For information that is not easily updated in app, quick hotlinks are available that direct right to the data source for further follow-up.
