Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
Paycom is used across our entire organization. After a few years of using several separate HR software and too many spreadsheets. We made the decision to switch to Paycom as an all-encompassing HRIS solution that could better scale our organization's growth.
- The implementation process has been really wonderful. Throughout the sales pitch, it was stated several times that the Paycom team will do much of the heavy lifting during implementation, and that held true.
- The candidate to new hire process in Paycom makes onboarding super seamless. Paycom has alleviated much of the administrative burden in the process, as well as many processes outside of onboarding.
- Paycom's ESS is very easy to navigate.
- Paycom is a robust one stop shop for all things HR, which is fantastic. But that also means it's not going to have every feature or element you'd find in an outside software that's dedicated to a specific HR function (like a specific software for performance management, LMS, ATS, etc.)
- Much of the UX/UI is outdated and the functionality proves to be difficult in some areas.
- Reduced administrative burden for our small HR Team.
We were using BambooHR, Workable, and Lattice before switching to Paycom. All of them were great software, but we switched to Paycom to accommodate our anticipated growth and reduce the number of separate HR software our employees were using. Bamboo, Workable, and Lattice have fantastic UX/UI and many "extras" that make their product stand out for the specific HR element they cover, but for us, it made more sense to switch to an HRIS that was more scalable. Paycom lacked in some ways in comparison, but in most instances, it can do everything each software does separately equally or better.
