Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
PayCor is used by the entire organization. We use it to onboard new employees, to manage time and attendance, payroll and benefits. Our employees use PayCor to request vacation, watch their punches and read communications from the HR department. PayCor helps me to communicate with employees across three shifts, saves me a great deal of time managing payroll and benefits, and helps my supervisors manage and approve time cards.
Pros
- Time and attendance-the time clocks are easy to set up and use, the employees can look at their hours on the PayCor app. They will even come to me and tell me when there is a problem, which saves ma a ton of time trying to track down solutions.
- Onboarding-no more paper! Yay! Employees register and log into PayCor, fill out everything necessary before they even come to work. I don't spend time chasing down IDs or tax forms.
- Payroll-so easy! Dump time cards right into the pay grid and move along.
Cons
- Third shift hours are sometimes difficult to track, especially when there is OT. The punches sometimes need to be tweaked to get the totals to work properly.
- The reports are great, the report builder could use some improvement. I have been able to get what I need from regular reports, so it hasn't been an issue.
- The knowledge base is very basic. I usually have to engage customer service when I need to update or change something.
- My payroll used to take three days to complete. Now it takes only a few minutes.
- My employees have more information at their fingertips. They can see their hours, they can reference HR materials and they can get check stubs.
- All I-9s are electronic, and I'm sure to have one for every person.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved 25-50 hours per month. - Employees can see their paychecks and punches. It saves me time having to look it up for them.

I liked PayCor's presentation better. I liked the price, platform and the people. I'm still happy with the decision.

Did not purchase any support. When I call support, they fix the issue. I’m impressed that any time I call with a question or problem, there person that answers the phone can answer the question. I don’t get out on hold or transferred. One call and done.
I recently started a new position that (yay!) used PayCor. I needed to become administrator without anyone else’s approval since there was nobody in the company to do it. They got right on the problem and had me up and running in No time. There were a couple of modules that needed additional updates, but they were handled quickly and efficiently.

Yes - It's great! Employees can view schedules, timecard and pay stub information. I can approve vacations and review time cards. It is very helpful.
