Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is used as the HRIS system at my company. We use HR & Payroll, ATS, Performance Management, Expense Reporting, BI, and reporting, among other modules.
Pros
- Payroll
- Applicant Tracking
Cons
- Reporting- There are not enough working, customizable reports. Specifically in the benefits module
- Performance Management- This tool fails to notify managers of upcoming reviews frequently. Despite tons of troubleshooting
- Communication and Professionalism- I have no idea who my dedicated account representative is. They have not once answered the phone when I call. When I call, I get a different person every time and most of the time, they are unable to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
- Benefits- The open enrollment process is the worst I've ever seen.
- Increased time for HR Department- Manually providing open enrollment data in place of a file feed because Paylocity wants to dodge responsibility
- Increased Errors due to data needing to be repeatedly put in multiple modules
- Reduced time from the ATS messaging feature
Automating responses for candidates in the ATS is helpful. I enjoy pulling templates to request a phone screening appointment, follow up with an active candidate, and/or decline a candidate.
My employees enjoy using the Community page to recognize others with Impressions. I like the Community page, as it's only seen by current, active employees.
All HRIS systems have pros and cons. As stated earlier, I do feel that Paylocity falls within the bottom two HRIS systems that I've used during my career.
