Overall Satisfaction with Skype
It is used by almost every department in my organization. I use it for client meetings in the credit department. It makes communication very convenient with my outstation and NRI clients. Sometimes I need to present proposals to my clients, and this is not very effective through phone calls, so I use Skype for making those video calls.
- One of the fastest connecting communication systems.
- Screen sharing feature is very helpful for remote access.
- It delivers the best audio/video quality during conference calls.
- It gets updates very frequently and sometimes it is very annoying.
- Unavailability of free voicemail box. It's paid and slightly expensive.
- Its parent company's terms and conditions are something which I don't trust completely. I am always suspicious about my privacy.
- It is extremely helpful in presentations on conference calls with my Outstation and NRI clients. It helped me to acquire many clients.

Even though Google has a very big brand name and wide presence among users, Skype still has many advantages over Google Hangouts. The audio and video quality provided by Skype is far ahead of its competitors. It works smoothly at low bandwidth also, and its screen sharing feature is very easy to operate. Apart from all these, I also like its interface design.
