Overall Satisfaction with Slack

I use Slack to communicate with various departments and clients in real time. I'm able to send files up to a certain capacity. And holding huddles has made inpromotu meetings a breeze.

Pros

Cons

  • I haven't been able to add apps easily
  • Add Giphy functions
  • Easy to communicate with clients across time zones
  • Can manage multiple team projects at different times
  • File sharing
I give Slack a 9 because there's still some things I think the platform could add. It has an emoji option, but not a GIF option, which is popular. I would like an easier way to find files shared in the channels without having to scroll across many days.
Slack has a more modern feel as far as ease of use.

I think Slack works for any business or agency that deals with multiple people, and they need a real-time communication tool. The ability to work in different channels at your own pace helps one get a lot done.
