[...] 2025 Review
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We use Splashtop across our whole organization at [...] to support the needs of our clients remotely or without always having to go to the workplace of our clients. It addresses the need to be in a vehicle to go to a client's workplace and so we can be much more productive by not always being in a vehicle.
Pros
- Remote Access & Support is the best least expensive solution for mid to small businesses not needing to purchase extras and cost effective.
- Splashtop's endpoint security is one of the best if not the best security solution for small to mid-sized businesses who need support that way but cannot afford it individually. Pricing is great too.
- Remote Device Management from Splashtop is A+. I am able to manage computers that aren't easily accessible but by internet connection and keep them updated and running as they should be without the hassle of going to the job site and performing those tasks.
Cons
- More Web browser features for a computer not able to download the programs for remote management. Like more file transfer options from a web browser.
- More functionality on where to save the file transfers and pull from the remote computer.
- Making it possible to be able to support more computers than the standard 340. Bigger batches to upgrade to.
- It is bringing in more money for us than we would if we always had to go to the client's site. Saves on gas, vehicle wear and tear and the price is right.
- We couldn't survive in business without the option or need to do remote access support through Splashtop. If it were more expensive then we wouldn't be able to keep the doors open.
- Other remote access suites don't have all the bells and whistles and are cheap, or too expensive for just some bells and whistles and need more money than necessary and not affordable for a small or mid sized business like ours.
Splashtop meets the needs we have to keep secure and they do their part to keep us secure too. Between the device verifications and the encryption of connections and logins, we are sure that it is only us using our accounts to login and support our clients. We are HIPPA Compliant and so our software is HIPPA Compliant as it should be.
Our onboarding experience with Splashtop was simple beyond belief. We signed up for our trial and were messing with Splashtop internally before we tried it out with our clients, and were impressed at how smooth it went for us. Competitors to Splashtop make onboarding too difficult and a pain to get a fair start going. Once we got all our internal testing done, we went to try Splashtop out on a select group of clients, and it was never any easier. Very simple, smooth and all questions were so simple to get answered.
Yes - Splashtop replaced our other remote access product that we had from a competitor to Splashtop. We were using a competitor's software to do the exact same stuff and more than that with multiple softwares to control different things around the organization and to our clients. We went from 5 or so products down to about 1 or two. All products now from Splashtop in one easy dashboard that we replaced.
