Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We originally decided to use Splashtop for unattended remote access when all the other more well-known software companies started to substantially increase their prices -- I researched alternatives and came across Splashtop which seemed to provide all the same features and support (unattended remote access, secure, simple to use) and was very pleased with its pricing -- after using it, found its performance and features were excellent -- when the pandemic hit and many users moved to WFH, we added the SOS support service -- I highly recommend this product for smaller companies
- great pricing - I don't think there is another vendor that provides their service, for the same low cost
- easy to install, configure, and use
- great remote performance
- honestly, I can't think of any shortcomings
- again, cost savings - when all the other comparable vendors substantially raised their prices, Splashtop remained/remains the same
- very reasonable, if any, increase in annual pricing - surprising, especially throughout the pandemic
- Splashtop added an additional level of ease for remote support for our satellite locations
Splashtop definitely meets our needs for secure unattended remote access for our satellite locations -- encryption is up to industry standard, and they do provide TFA, as well as email verifications when new logins/devices are detected
Splashtop was configured in the web UI quickly and easily -- client installations were the same -- very small executable file, barely any customized configuration necessary
Yes - Splashtop replaced GoToMyPC simply for the price -- as mentioned, so many other competitors gradually raised their annual subscriptions over a period of two or three years, which ultimately led me to Splashtop -- they provide the same features and functionality, for the same cost as always
