Overall Satisfaction with UserTesting

We use it to test concepts and designs with users. This helps us ensure what we're putting into the app before we launch!

Pros

  • Analytics summaries.
  • Transcripts

Cons

  • Participant quality.
  • A less clunky site.
  • Better groupings in survey outputs.
  • Increased conversion rates.
  • Fewer usability issues in the wild.
  • Execs feeling comfortable with big swings.
Everyone I talk to is super helpful and responds very quickly.
Some of the buttons ironically don't make sense and I have to remember what they mean. Like "Summary" vs. "Metrics"
This helps us improve our products in the wild by testing them first with potential users.
UserTesting has the best unmoderated interview set up and it's easy for participants to use as well.

For gen-pop apps that have large userbases it's great. For more specific recruits, I'd look elsewhere.
