Overall Satisfaction with WebPT
We use WebPT for our scheduling, EMR, and Reach, and Billing service primarily on the daily. Weekly we use the analytics and outcomes. This site offers an easy way to schedule patients on whatever server you are using the internet on. I can use the same login for our multiple clinic locations with ease of use.
- Documentation system is very easy to use compared to other products.
- The text message reminders are pretty consistent for our patients convenience.
- The internal messaging system is new and we really enjoy using it for quick notes to other employees.
- The tracking of expiring POC I think get alerted too early and we start to ignore the warnings because they come to frequently, when not needed.
- It would be nice to have a delete all appointments button added. I know that there could also be reprocussions for having that sort of capability, but sometimes we have a patient scheduled out for MANY appointments when they are then self d/c for whatever reason, and it causes a lot of time for the front desk employees to go through and delete everything.
- Moving appointments has glitches when you click, hold and move. That could use some updating.
- We have definetly seen improved productivity with using WebPT over other softwares. There is less learning time for new employees which is really great.
- Being able to outcomes of each patient tracked for our PTs has helped us gain insight into how each PT treats.
- WebPT used to have a call line for when there where issues but this feature was taken away and now we have to send an email to get help with something. This is the only thing that I would say takes away from being productive.
We have been able to add our new clinic in 2022 very easliy. We started out slow there so being given the ability for our Brighton clinic to schedule out patients for our Farmington Hills location was helpful with the amount of staff that we need to have on a daily basis. We take on students every semester and WebPT is great for our students. They can work on notes at home if they need to.
WebPT is great with their webinars and emails when things change. They also usually update the software so that PTs are forced to add certain things to our billing.
WebPT is better than TheraOffice in the fact that we can use it web based only and can use any computer that we purchase. We also can access our schedules at home to see if changes are made without having to bother our front desk staff.
TheraOffice has a leg up when it comes to reports. They are much more intuitive and are easier and faster to put together.

Evaluating WebPT and Competitors
Yes - A2C Medical, it was outdated design and functionality.
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Cloud Solutions. Having access to our scheduling from anywhere and being HIPAA compliant is the most important for our company.
I would maybe check out other web based software. We have only used 2 softwares, I'm sure there are more out there that are comparable, but we have only explored these two oppurtunites. There are quite a few instances of glitches and we cannot literlaly do anything since it is server based. Which is about the only annoying thing that we experience with this software.
WebPT Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- Emails sometimes are accepted
- Automatic passwords never get sent to peoples emails
WebPT Support

Quick Resolution Good followup Knowledgeable team Problems get solved Kept well informed No escalation required Support cares about my success Quick Initial Response | Need to explain problems multiple times |
No, I don't know about any type of premium support.
We found a note that was completed but the button for completion was never pressed. And that employee was let go. We couldn't figure out how to get the note finialized and they helped us resolve our issue in less than 15 minutes.
