ADP is best if you have a really knowledgeable client rep that has been your contact for multiple sessions. Otherwise, you are forced to reiterate the problems to multiple parties. If you have a dedicated staff member who is knowledgeable of your processes, then ADP is a good resource for payroll needs.

Isolved is great with payroll and payroll changes as well as onboarding. Our benefit open enrollment went well and for the most part was stress free, there were a few hiccups with our 3rd party supplemental insurances. Because of their complexity and they way they are processed through payroll there was a little confusion and things needed to be adjusted. But due to the flexibility of the system the issues didn't become big problems.

  • It is very simple to process payroll, even from home if needed. I once processed the payroll from Japan.
  • I love that I can balance the payroll and send it knowing it is 100% correct.
  • I can process payroll as late as 6pm and have it back the next day.
  • I really like my ADP representative. I have had 2 and they are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
  • Speaking of the ADP representative.......No matter who answers the phone, if my rep is not available, they are all knowledgeable and even through they are not my assigned rep, they are all pleasant to work with.

  • The payroll function, while user friendly, was a little confusing starting out. Many codes had to be learned for certain things such as benefits.
  • When running reports, the process was very easy to make a mistake requiring multiple tries to get it correct.

  • More reminder notifications would be great!
  • A way to email hiring managers and our IT department at the same time with a template would save us from so much email communication
  • Transfer all attached documents such as interview notes from iHired applicants to isolved employee documents would save us time uploading into multiple places

I have a lot of experience and trust in this software package - actually any software package from ADP. The training that I have gotten over the years has always been complete and the representatives that I have had over the years are all EXCEPTIONAL! Looking back in the 20 plus years of experience, I can say truthfully there are only 1-3 persons who I would rather not have worked with at ADP. I find their customer service, and phone reps do their best to get the job done. This makes my job easier in the process.

Due to the continued problems (time clock disconnects, regular post-update issues) and users' negative attitude, we are unlikely to renew. Another important factor is that TF is US-centric, so it does not account for local Philippine specifics, which is important to us.

It is very intuitive and user friendly. iSolved is always updating and improving things before they even become a problem. I like how they inform us of the new updates and provide us with the details of what is changing and how it will improve the usuage.

Payroll due dates and send to us at the beginning of the year, with email reminders for holidays. The support email address is fairly fast, within 24-48 hours. But if something is needed immediately, I can just call and they help me out right then.

We do not use the integration, so we have a csv file that I upload manually for payroll. That is our decision based on the software at our restaurants. Pages loaded fairly quickly, but reports to pdf lag about 15-20 seconds

I gave this rating because for the most part I am always responded to quickly. More recently there have been a couple of times where it has taken a couple of days for me to get a reply. I also said I would receive a call back same day and that did not happen. It eventually was handled. after a couple of days

We loved taking the course, we went through most of them before we went live and I believe that was very helpful. The online training helped us learn to navigate in the program. We still refer to the training and assign our managers and supervisors to it as well. I highly recommend using it. We have also been able to attend the Connect Conferences with are extremely valuable and we learn tips and tricks to help us better utilize our system.

The system was very cumbersome setting up as well as time consuming. There were times I just wanted to walk away and sometimes I did have to get up and walk away for a break and come back with a fresh perspective. The setup took me over a period of two to three months getting it to serve the purposes that we needed it two. I am very intuitive when it comes to computer software however getting all the right buttons checked in order for it to do what I needed didn't always work.

ADP is just a well known brand and is fairly affordable. Compared to other software such as Workday, it was a more affordable price point for our budget. However, if we had more resources and time to examine, Workday seems to offer a strong alternative to ADP in terms of payroll, HR, and financial systems. Overall though, there are more consultants knowledgeable about ADP which made it an easier choice for us

I went with iSolved because the people I spoke with were all quick to answer and very thorough in their responses. I knew they could help me build my setup the way I wanted it, and not just force me to work within some pre-set parameters once I had signed the contract.

We are a company of about 135 people at 9 locations in 2 towns. We were able to set locations and departments, and also have each location seperate so only that manager can see their employees.

  • When we had Paycom, we had 1/4 of our staff that were not logging in and using the system. That number is down to maybe 5% now
  • Employees love having the ability to easily view and verify their timecards prior to payroll submission.
