It's suitable for companies that want to streamline HR paperwork without getting overwhelmed. If you're a tech startup with a volatile payroll, high turnover, and multiple platforms that require a reliable source of truth for integrations, BambooHR is a gem. It's not suitable for companies with payroll outside of North America that aren't willing to pay for two systems or double their work. Companies without a technical background might miss out on the API integrations, which we consider one of the most important features. I think the best place for TimeClock Plus to work would be at a restaurant or a busy business that has a lot of people to track and needs a robust dashboard to keep things in order. For my organization, we only have around 10 people max per location and it was a bit too expensive and complex for our needs. We could use a simpler system.

There's nothing wrong with this platform. I would recommend it to any business starting with more than 10 employees. I will continue to use the program for as long as I need to, hoping they continue being tremendous and finding other ways to incorporate more technology.

It's robust and does what we need it to do in terms of tracking worked time, also unworked time. It has a detailed Employee Profiles section but mostly it's because it keeps track of hours

I think BambooHR is super easy to use and understand. I would recommend the system, and it helped my company decide to keep it when we were considering a change. I also think our users find it easy to use, since we don't get many calls from people struggling.

I absolutely love the ability to customize TCP to what you need it to be. There's lots of settings and areas where you get to decide how to want the system to operate. For every situation our team has said "I wish TCP would do it this way" we have been able to find a setting to adjust to make it do that. There are very minor adjustments I would like to make like hiding drop down menu items that we won't ever use.

Yes, there is a huge team in the back of the online platform or it looks like it because I have never been left without an answer when I have a question or waiting from a response on my chat .... There must be a huge team, this is so great and I always seem to have someone that is very knowledgeable too. So many times in the past I had to leave with customer service that would connect you with someone else because of the expertise, here everyone seems to be some kind of an expert in the HR function.

I love BambooHR. Reports are easy to run and download and it usually covers any types of requests I get from the management team. You get excel or .csv downloads/reports and it is fast and simple, not too crowded so it is easy to read through. We don't integrate the tool yet but again, soon we will. we just did not had the time to utilize it yet but that's the plan.

Great performance, pages load quickly and reports generate quickly. They do take some time to complete if they're covering a large Start - Stop date, eg months but that's not an issue, they still complete fairly quickly.

Through their help center, FAQs, and live customer service agents, I've always received prompt, accurate, and helpful guidance when I reach out with questions. Their live-agent customer service hours cover a good portion of the day, and I get the help I need whenever I need it.

Overall this training was great and our implementation specialist was wonderful and very helpful. We felt really prepared once our training was completed, But we could get additional help immediately even when we were live. The continuation Support heros after implementation are wonderful and you can always get a LIVE person each time you call into their office.

We implemented bambooHR in Fall, 2023 then implemented Payroll 1/1/24. A vital piece of information was not known or missed in that we are exempt from State Unemployment Tax and have a Reimbursement Set-up, so bambooHR did not send Payroll Reports to the State. Those reports need to be sent regardless if we are exempt or not.

Bamboo HR's user interface is better than the alternative products listed above. It is easier to scroll through tabs and navigate different sections and reports. You do not need to train your team members to use Bamboo HR. This saves time on training. The user interface of other products listed above is not as simple and clean as Bamboo HR.

TimeClock Plus is extremely easy to use for all employees!!! We want platforms that every employee feels comfortable using. Again, it is effortless to log hours on a day-to-day basis. I love that our employees have the ability to keep track of their hour details, such as paid time off, volunteerism, holiday, etc. This portal helps our team to stay compliant!!!

Since my organization has dropped with employees, I always find ways to reduce costs. I thought there would be a cheaper option, but I was glad that my package included a lot for the price, and downgrading would cost more. The rep could have let me downgraded and taken me to a higher package. I am thankful that didn't happen.

There is so much you can do with this platform, it is incredible and so welcoming. We don't utilize it 100% yet just because we are growing and the HR team has not been able to concentrate on other areas offered to us but but we will soon. Which is also why we got the product, specifically because what BambooHR can do to help us meet our growing business needs.

We used to pay an outside firm to handle these things. We paid about the same per month as we do for BambooHR® and they would answer HR questions when we needed them to.
Onboarding goes a lot smoother and it's easy to collect esignatures.
Time off has become much more visible across the organization and managers can see their own team's requests and the requests of others to better plan our schedule.
