Out of all of the applicant tracking systems I have used, Breezy HR is the most basic that I have experienced. The capabilities within other ATS platforms far outperform what you can get from Breezy HR.
No other app works as well and seamlessly as Breezy. They offer great value for the price, especially for small-medium businesses. It has similar features as the bigwigs like Workday and Success factors at a fraction of the cost.
Breezy HR just has a lot more features that are relevant to our requirements and helps streamline the hiring process immensely. Other software have been buggy and [have] issues with managing the talent pool which has caused [a] lot of issues including duplication and resume …
I did not choose Breezy and it's the most frustrating ATS I've used in my 20+ year career. It would be different if they were willing to work on making their software better, but they become very defensive when you tell them there's something wrong with it. I would rather have …
The decider for us was that we were able to use the tool and try it out for free. Having the team look at it and get a hands-on feel for it really made the decision easy for us. It also had more features in it than the other products we looked at. It felt like a more complete …
We did several trials with other programs, including Workable. Ultimately, the user friendliness of the platform and the customer service was what set them ahead. Some platforms we trialed were twice the cost, so getting the full program and all the features at what seemed to …
I liked that Breezy HR had an option to try it out before we committed. I also preferred the User interface of Breezy HR to other options we looked into. The pricing was very attractive as well. Plus it included more features than most competitors we demo-ed did.
It's hard to compare Breezy to other software because it's inexpensive and feature-rich. It doesn't stack up to Bamboo HR in terms of features because Bamboo HR is significantly more expensive. The only other competitor we evaluated was Freshteam, and Breezy outperformed it in …
We weren't using any other software before Breezy HR but did also consider Pipedrive. And while Pipedrive worked well, it wasn't suited for our needs. Pipedrive is more oriented towards sales and doesn't lend itself to the hiring process. Breezy HR covered all the needs we were …
I selected Breezy HR over Workable simply because it does the same thing but it is a better price. Workable initially had better looking software, but I feel like Breezy has really worked to close the gap. Workable also didn't have the Kanban board when I tested them awhile …
We previously used SmartRecruiters who used to have a free or very affordable tier. They then made the business decision to drastically raise the bar on their lowest paid tier, at which point I looked for an alternative and quickly ran across Breezy on Product Hunt. For our …
This software can be implemented in less than 2 weeks. Offers mobile-friendly application forms and users have access to a dedicated account manager and support as needed.
Workable is one of the best because the interface makes sense. A lot of other software is confusing but Workable is manageable and learnable right away.
Compared to other websites that I have used to submit applications (including resumes and cover letters), workable stands out as one of the easiest to use. I had little to no confusion and I didn't need to replicate information that was already in my resume and cover letter. A …
We used to use Collage for job postings but it was just a simple place to host job posts but customization was lacking and it didn't have multi-page posting and sponsoring at the time. It was barebones and free but we needed a more powerful system. We still use Collage for our …
For candidate tracking and hiring process, I would recommend Workable. It is easier to use, allows hiring managers and interview panels to leave feedback, and you can easily keep track of candidates throughout the candidate search. Workday is used for more than the hiring …
Functional isn't as strong as other candidate following framework, yet what it does, it does well. It is extraordinary for littler organizations or the individuals who won't enlist at an abnormal state continually. I thought that it was extremely valuable for the circumstance I …
I demo'ed the three products listed, and used both Workable and the Applicant Manager for a week before making my decision. I chose Workable because I preferred the look and the layout, and I found it to be the easiest to navigate and customize.
Workable in my eyes may not be as complex, but for mid-market and growing mid-market companies, this is the product that will help businesses where hiring is frequent. We didn't need to be overwhelmed with technology, and I think that helped us with our decision in choosing …
SnapHire is a great system, but hard to customise on your own and a lot more expensive Taleo, more suited to a large recruitment team where reporting is important, very clunky and not intuitive, not user friendly at all
Workable was an excellent tool for our start-up. It was cost effective but very user-friendly. It wasn't a difficult sell to ensure our hiring managers would utilize the tool, and I particularly liked the inbox feature to stay organized. I rated Workable very highly, though …
Workable is not as robust as other applicant tracking system, but what it does, it does well. It is great for smaller businesses or those who won't be recruiting at a high level constantly. I found it very useful for the situation I was in when I had it. But my more recent …
Workable is easy to configure and automate for our team. We initially tried Lever where we didn't have success. In a sea of ATSs, we like the price point and the results Workable delivers to our team.
I had a demo call with Lever: it was about 3x more expensive if I recall, but had the same features as Workable. It also seemed better for huge companies. We're a startup. However, I can't imagine wanting to leave Workable even if we grew to 100+ people. Every other ATS I looked …
Workable was the best bang for our buck. In growing as a company, it has grown with us. We went from three job postings, to 10! It can be completely tailored to your business type and size. Whenever we need to scale back, it is a quick and easy process as you can control all of …
Workable is simple and powerful with a collaborative interface that allows collaboration of positions to be accomplished seamlessly and in realtime. It is simple to create and manage jobs and uses keyword publishing to drive more candidates to postings on sites. It exceeds all …
Workable had so many more features... the email integration, the personalized landing pages, the reporting, the dashboard, the remote communications, the applicant tracking etc. Workable had so much more.
Workable is far easier to use than our ATS products like Greenhouse - cleaner interface, easy to onboard and educate new years. For some clients we've had to use Greenhouse and I've always found Greenhouse by comparison to be incredibly clunky and harder to get the information …
Workable is slightly simpler than Greenhouse - fewer features, cheaper, and more suited to our company size. I can't say I wouldn't move to Greenhouse when we're a bigger company, but for our current context I'm happy to be using Workable for it's focus on simplifying the …
I don't know what else we would use really. For me personally, it's better than Google Sheets! This is a company-wide software, so this is what I was given to use for our hiring process. This is where we post all of our job listings, and what I have to learn to use.
I have never really run into an issue where Breezy was not appropriate to use. I would think more companies would use it as an ATS to contain candidates because of the ease of use. It is very easy to use Breezy to load candidates and to also import the resumes from the websites we use, as well as from our website when applicants apply to positions.
NEOGOV Onboard is well-suited for companies who hire many candidates; especially if the Onboarding Team (HR in our case) is working remotely. NEOGOV Onboard would be less-well-suited for organizations who do not hire a lot of candidates and who are able to meet with a new hire in-person.
Workable is great at creating job posts and posting them to multiple job boards with a single click and also running paid campaigns on social media platforms to reach passive candidates as well. Workable has a friendly UI and has a very gentle learning curve. It is more appropriate for larger organizations where you need to hire thousands of people a year and need to always have a pipeline of great talent.
Low-Cost: Compared to its enterprise-level alternatives, Breezy is incredibly inexpensive. There are very few cost-effective hiring softwares to choose from, and we were under the impression that we'd be spending thousands to get a system that helps us like Breezy does.
All in one solution: For small teams, you really only need Breezy to manage your hiring funnel.
Customer Support: I've chatted with customer support for everything from product troubleshooting to changing my billing structure, and they were very accommodating and resolved my issues quickly.
Job Board Integrations: Through Breezy, you can post to 40+ job boards (many that are totally free). We have found that we get a significant number of candidates from this with no additional money spent.
Workable was extremely user friendly and aesthetically pleasing to use. I had no trouble training or setting up new users, they always caught on quickly.
You are able to quickly review candidates at a glance with all notes, texts or emails sent at the top of their profile. This made jumping into a job order easy for those who may be out of the loop.
Workable's customer support is stellar, they offer free training and very timely responses for any questions or concerns you may have.
One of the biggest issues we've had is the limited contract space. Breezy HR allows use to upload a contract in the system so you don't also have to use a third-party like Docusign. Which is great, however, it only allows one contract. This can make it difficult if you want to hire for different positions within the company. But, other than that, the system is great.
A better connection between NEOGOV Onboard and Insight/OHC would be useful
The ability to utilize candidate text messaging and/or send notices via Onboard (rather than OHC/Insight) could help save time
It would be helpful to allow candidates to communicate with internal staff via the Mentors Widget in the Preboarding Portal, not just the Onboarding Portal
Candidate timeline history - you could say it's a double-edged sword. I love that I can follow how a candidate has progressed through the process and see all the notes, correspondence, and stage updates on one page, but it's also too much information sometimes. I wish there was a way that I could just filter it to see email history, for example.
Workable going to spam - if you or your client select the option that "hides" your email address in Workable email correspondence, sometimes candidate emails go straight to candidate's spam folders. I try to warn clients and candidates ahead of time about this, but it would be great if it didn't happen at all!
People Search - it's a great tool when it works, but oftentimes it brings up candidate search details that are no longer valid or true (out of date resumes, closed email accounts).
It's become a part of the fabric of our hiring process and we are growing like crazy! Once we have a working platform in place the cost of the change management typically far out weighs the benefits derived from the change! It's especially hard to change a process with employees who are not key stake holders, they are alway hesitant to invest time in a new product they are only going to use once in a while. With that said if something else came along with benefits far and above workable that we would gain a clear lift in productivity and capabilities we would make the change, we've done it with other parts of our tech stack
It's very difficult to navigate. Most systems have a job management side and a candidate management side. Breezy only has a candidate management side. It never pulls our jobs to Indeed. The user interface is so challenging to navigate. It will remove vital parts of the screen if you expand a menu. It freezes constantly. It's a great idea, but it has so many software bugs. There is something wrong with this platform and nobody wants to find the bugs.
One thing, it just works as advertised. AI integration makes the work more easier, and we will be able to process the applications more faster with the help of AI.
The customer support team is always very responsive, and they are genuinely interested in helping you solve your issue. If the issue is something they cannot solve or guide you through, they always send it to their tech team to fix from the back end. They are also very receptive when you send along ideas or suggestions.
I have never had to rely on Workable's support team so I cannot attest to this. I have never had to rely on Workable's support team so I cannot attest to this. We did several trials with other programs, including Workable. Ultimately, the user friendliness of the platform and the customer service was what set them ahead. Some platforms we trialed were twice the cost, so getting the full program and all the features at what seemed to be a high price (but only half of the competitors) was worth it
Workable was an excellent tool for our start-up. It was cost effective but very user-friendly. It wasn't a difficult sell to ensure our hiring managers would utilize the tool, and I particularly liked the inbox feature to stay organized. I rated Workable very highly, though as our company grew exponentially, we did go in a different direction.
There has been a very favorable profit margin for the company since last season, and this is probably due to the implementation of Breezy HR as a human resources service.
The reason for this growth was that when we started using it, it was much easier to hire diverse employees, and therefore increase our workforce.
There is a relatively large improvement in our ROI impact collected in the last few months of using Workable relative to the first few months that the platform was being used to manage the recruitment process.
Such improvement is possibly due to the fact that the results of hiring processes from months ago are being shown directly in the job performance of new employees.
