Clearbit is great for companies with large sales teams who focus on high touch prospecting. The time saved by not having to search a prospect's LinkedIn profile, but simply see data in the CRM is awesome. On the other hand, Clearbit may not be as ideal in a company where sales are very transactional

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

When targeting very specific companies or decision makers, [LinkedIn] Sales Navigator can work. Most people seem to check their LinkedIn messages and many get notifications on their phones when they get an InMail. There is a certain amount of inherit professionalism and trust with LinkedIn. If my company gave me an unlimited budget I would use it a lot more frequently. It's great to make an introduction or connection, build trust, and send the occasional important message or request.

  • The phone numbers are extremely accurate, so our sales team isn't wasting time calling 800 numbers or being transferred.
  • ClearBit mapping is great because there are 80 fields that map and an API.
  • We can build out our leads and contacts extremely faster because of the simplicity of the program.

  • The data Clearbit provides is good, but it doesn't compare to some competitors. While you can find a large range of data, other providers have more clean data.
  • The Google Sheets add-on is not as comprehensive. It would be nice if you could search for both prospect emails and numbers there.
  • Clearbit provides direct dials, but again it's not as accurate as other services.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • It would be nice to have better integration from SF with other tools.
  • We often have skewed data since we use two search tools. Discover.org and Sales Navigator. Sometimes the data doesn't always match, and not by a few numbers, but by the thousands occasionally.
  • I'd like to be able to export and import contacts more easily and start drip campaigns to reach out.

The majority of the time it provides quick, accessible and easy to use information about the company and contact information. This has really helped us to personalise our outreach while also making it faster to prospect accounts. I don't give it a ten as this information can be inaccurate. Including the LinkedIn link which sometimes re-directs to old LinkedIn accounts, or just the wrong one. This seems to be caused by not updating the information regularly enough (just a feeling, no evidence)

The focus on continuous improvement and richer means of communicating with customers and prospects is evident each time new features are rolled out. The social component of the tool even includes a gamification component to ensure that peers remain relevant among each other, which is refreshing and enjoyable for those who engage the tool on a daily basis.

The team has been extremely helpful and works with us one on one with issues we come across. My main issues with the service is it’s outward interactions with us since purchasing the product. They have not proactively checked in to see how our is doing with the product.

The tool speaks for itself, but the support is definitely a significant portion of why we use the tool. The company cares about their customer's success and it shows. We do not have to wait for long periods of time for the support team to respond; they do so in a timely manner, and virtually always with relevant insights and solutions.

I am unsure of the rollout, as I was not involved. I was an early adopter, and I have had a lot of success with the tool personally at multiple organizations, but I have no idea whether the implementation process encountered any errors. I can personally say that it works, and that I have not encountered significant issues with the tool since adoption, although a few issues like messages showing up as being unread even though they have been opened have been an on-again/off-again issues throughout the past few years. Overall, the company is doing a great job, and our implementation seems to have been effective.

Time to realize ROI and system capability was not very clear, and my client was hesitant to take unnecessary risks. Time was not on our side in this selection and evaluation process. The client decided to go with Clearbit based on many factors but ultimately, the feedback received from other users was the deciding factor in the purchase decision.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

ZoomInfo is a great platform, but I feel that LinkedIn Sales Navigator is the better option because it has the 'social networking' component. We are able to organically develop B2B relationships and then reach out to them when the time feels right. ZoomInfo is excellent for finding contacts, but when you call and/or email them, there might not yet be an online relationship established. With LinkedIn Sales Navigator, we can look at contacts and learn about their interests, education, memberships, etc., and this allows initial communication to be more personal.

  • It's provided some key data in terms of geography which we rely on to distribute our customers and prospects to territories.
  • Works great for large repositories of data, which we have.
  • Not as useful for proactive prospecting. We use it primarily for data enrichment and confirmation of demographic info.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • It is used by almost every one of our SDRs currently, so we are getting well worth the amount of meetings for the price we are paying.
  • We currently are buying more licenses because the product works so well. SDRs that don't have access are getting fewer meetings and have a hard time meeting their quotas.
  • When not all of the SDRs were using the product, we got licenses taken away since the solution was expensive, but luckily utilization is at an all time high right now.
