Once you know how to utilize the filters, it is very handy when looking for something specific. However, it requires a bit of handholding to get to that point. Also, adjusting hours for artists is pretty quick which is useful when needing to do something right away, especially on a meeting call.

Paycor is probably pretty good for small businesses, but the larger you grow, the more difficult it is to use. Their analytics tool provides inconsistent data as compared to our payroll journals, probably as a result of the multiple payrolls we have to maintain as a larger organization. The system doesn't properly allow for the use of "contingent" labor as a separate population of non-employees, meaning you have to make up phony social security numbers and other details in order to get them into the system for time card tracking. In our case, Paycor has set up different "payrolls" for each staffing agency that we use, and we have to maintain separate cost centers for them in every part the business where they work. This is resulting in a very cluttered system, and accurate reporting is difficult.
Read full review Pros It is very easy to know which employees have a detachment in the activities they carry out. What I like the most about Deltek is that it allows me to visualize in real time, the performance that each employee has had depending on the assignments fulfilled in the labor sector. The real-time reports are very detailed, it offers information on work time, the activities carried out, assignments fulfilled and not fulfilled, and it also performs an automated process to know how effective each of the assignments fulfilled has brought to the company. It has excellent integration with our workforce management software. This integration is what has allowed us to obtain these great results, since it allows us to transfer all the data collected about the work of each employee, and automates the analysis of the data collected, providing us with a detailed report on the performance and prominence of the various employees. The support and technical assistance Deltek provides is second to none. When I started using this software in my Marketing sector, I had several questions about the compensation system and how I could apply it to my employees. Read full review Cons The user interface is crammed with stuff and it's sometimes hard to find where you need to be at any given time. For example, you can't just use the search bar to find all people in the system named "Maria". You need to know whether she is a "resume", a "candidate" or an "employee", or use one of the menus to search in a different window. It's not very Canadian-friendly. The options for cross posting are mostly American or Spanish. The onboarding isn't the greatest. They have lots of options for creating e-signable documents, but some of the most necessary information (like tax forms) are not able to be e-signed, so candidates were having to do some forms online and print some off and they were getting very confused and we had to scrap the whole endeavour. The product is really good overall. The customer service is not the best and the benefits administration is kind of painful. However, the good outweighs the bad. We might get a different benefit admin system that can be integrated into Paycor. My controller doesn't want to switch anything for a [long] time.

I think it is pretty straightforward. It is not a bad thing to say that it is similar to a lot of products in a lot of ways. That's not what this question is asking, though. It's about usability, and I feel that it carries on the easy usability that a lot of other products similar to it have.

I'd give a zero if that were an option. I currently have multiple requests for support that have not been answered in over a week. I have called their support phone line and usually hung up after waiting for 45 minutes for someone to answer. It is unlikely to get a quick response, EVER, even to urgent problems that effect taxes and benefit submission.

Implementation of any new software is going to be challenging, especially if you are maintaining an existing program concurrently. When it is time for dual-processing (both old and new software) prior to going live, be prepared to be stressed. But trust the process and it will be over soon.

Paycor definitely has a leg up on
. This is the system we went from to Paycor and it is much more basic with not as much opportunity for bundling data together and tracking information. Paychex did provide a dedicated customer service rep, which was very helpful, and I do miss that with Paycor.
is a company I've also used for over 7 years it does have some really good features. I feel
is more user-friendly but Paycor has more in-depth options and software features that are very helpful.

Before we simply had three piles of resumes on our desk for each position (yes, no, and not yet reviewed). HRSmart changed all of that. Our cost per hire was positively affected. We were hiring at a high volume and this soltion facilitated us doing that very efficiently. Our ability to share candidates across open positions turned out to be a huge plus. Not having to copy or scan resumes and send them via interoffice mail was HUGE in terms of efficiency gain. HRSmart made it easier for candidates to apply for openings and that increased our applicant flow for open/posted positions. This translates into better hires in the end.
