Both softwares are very similar. I also use AutoEntry to configure a pdf bank statement into an excel doc without requiring to sync it to any accounting software
Dext is much easier to use than Hubdoc. You can approve documents in batches whereas in Hubdoc you need to review each document separately. Once Dext is set up properly, there is little need to review every document.
I have never been able to get Expensify to work for me. The reports are just completely unintuitive and I end up having my client generate the report I need and send it to me instead.
For QBO the restriction on which email addresses can send receipts is too limiting. They also …
Dext Prepare mobile application has far better functionality compared to HubDoc or Expensify. In the mobile application, user can take a picture of multiple pages invoices, one invoice at a time or in bulk all together. In the mobile application, user also have the option of …
Receipt Bank is superior to Wave in terms of its accuracy of reporting and allocating expenses. Even though there is a fee for Receipt Bank and Wave is free, the monthly fee for Receipt Bank is well worth the money, given the benefits
Sage 300cloud is a great cloud/web based option when stacked against Sage 300 and Sage 100 Contractor. These other two systems are on premise and require licenses to access. Sage 300cloud can be accessed from any web page and is a pay as you go model. Oracle JD Edwards …
Sage 300 was selected before I came to this company, these are others I've previously used or evaluated. I'm happy overall with Sage 300, as it does what it needs to, even if it's not super fancy. The functionality is as robust as you need it to be; it's scalable.
We have been an Accpac company since day one (1999). We have not tried a competitor, although some of our 'sister organizations' have switched to Altus Dynamics recently. There are also some Great Plains users that we talk to once in a while, but at this time we are not …
Sage offers more features allowing your business to continue to grow and develop while utilizing the same software. Also, the ability to manage the users is more simplified in Sage.
As an accountant I find that Sage 300 works logically from an accounting perspective as opposed to other accounting packages that are aimed at users without an accounting background. MAS 500 is an excellent and powerful product but is not appropriate for the company size that I …
The cost was less and it was able to allow donation tracking easily.

Sage deals with Canadian issues much better than the products above. It has better multicurrency capabilities. It address Canadian taxes especially GST input tax credits better. It has better options for Canadian payroll and Candian payments including EFT and Credit Card …
We've also looked at Lattice, which is a compensation management software, but we found that it was lacking in terms of integration with Salesforce as well as inefficiency. Updates it usually takes a longer time for sales and Salesforce to translate to Lattice, and we find that …
But staying on track to ensure I am reaching the goals set for me, both daily, monthly & quarterly. This App also helps me stay on Track to the money that I earn and can earn with each level that i meet and can achieve. This app helps me succeed at all times.
Our company was using a product called SNL Banker to share incentive data with our sales team. We were using this product for other reporting so it was an easy solution but it did not have any of the calcualtion functions of Xactly Incent. I used Xactly Incent at a previous …
More straightforward to implement complex incentive plans - faster to implement. Better visibility from the management perspective and user perspective. There are a lot of features to ensure the product is compliant with all the certifications.
Xactly Incent® is promissing tool in market as it is from long time. and builded the trust with big companies. Whereas rest of the tools are new in market and has most recent features per industry requirement with enough flexibility.
Xactly Forecasting has a smart AI tool, this is what puts them ahead of the competition. With their smooth interaction with other apps and programs, it makes it seamless when using other apps and programs. I find that when it uses its forecasting skill it shows us exactly what …
Application suits well to multiple user structure where users buy and pay expenses on the go so each user would have their own mobile app and access to Dext Prepare and soon after the purchase, they take a picture of the receipt and upload so finance team can access the information straight away. It would not suit well where a business has very few users who pay the bills and most bills are on the cloud (via emails, all-digital in the first place). Because these bills can be emailed to the accounting system in the first place anyway or other software providers where monthly subscription is much cheaper.
I believe that Sage 300 ERP is appropriate for a wide variety of companies looking for a system to maintain information in a concise manner. The level of complexity with which it is used is determined by the user group. Therefore, this product is great for companies that are just starting to grow right through to more mature companies looking for detailed data and analytics from their systems.
Xactly has helped us recognize where our sales incentive plans are overly complicated and find ways to make them more functional and easy-to-understand for the sales reps who are expected to be motivated by them. Having data in Xactly allows us to more quickly identify outliers and communicate potential challenges to our stakeholders. Xactly also has reduced the number of errors in the incentive process (from quota and credit data received to getting those payments to payroll) and reduced the amount of time it takes to do that. It has also allowed us to make sure consistent practices are being used across 100+ sites in the US and Canada. My biggest complaints about Xactly are about the navigation within various objects - sometimes it can be time-consuming to switch between periods (especially in different years) and that can be frustrating. We're still figuring out the new reporting tools, but I see the value in the newly released tools.
Key metrics on the submissions by clients and any delays. This allows for early identification where client may be struggling to get the information submitted to Receipt Bank, holding up the bookkeeping processing and ultimately delays in delivery of information to the clients.
Identifying unprocessed receipts sitting in the clients Receipt Bank file.. This assists in managing internal workflow and aiding team members who may find they need assistance in completing key tasks.
Identifying which clients are using Receipt Bank effectively and which clients need assistance. This can provide the opportunity to discuss with all clients what works well for them and what needs improvement by sharing some of the wins from other clients.
Providing managers the ability to review with ease the progress of Receipt Bank processing by client and by bookkeeper. This allows them to identify issues literally before they occur.
On the Inbox screen include a 'due date' column so items can be easily sorted in due date order to assist managing accounts payable
improve the data matching between XERO and DEXT. Currently it performance is 'random' and does not occur on each customer file. Seems it is something that needs to be requested from support. It should be an automatic feature
Although I do like the Bank Reconciliation module, I wish it was a bit more advanced and less clunky. Some transactions cannot be reversed and the module seems slower than others.
When using copy and paste on all modules, sometimes I receive an error message and the program closes.
Dext is the best way for us to manage our business expenses. Physical and PDF receipts/invoices will be around for a while, but the move to eInvoicing is very good and we look forward to Dext adding this feature
It is a solid stable product with a large user community and large ISV community. Support and Training are easy to access and obtain and there is larger reseller channel to ensure the firm you work with is honest. It is scalable and there are multiple deployment and payment options.
We have been using Xactly as a primary application to calculate the commissions payout on a daily basis and would continue the same as Xactly Incent meets our requirement. It keeps the process automated and reduces the manual effort to calculate commissions.
Receipt Bank was great 3 years ago when I started using it. Now it’s way to expensive for what you can get elsewhere for free. Also the rebranding didn’t work in my opinion so the Dext name doesn’t have the same feeling to me as Receipt Bank.
Sage 300cloud is intuitive and user friendly after some training. It does require implementation and training but once that's done, this software is easy to use and navigate. Support for Sage 300cloud is spot on and offers assistance over the simplest to [the] most complex of tasks. Finding information or learning new tasks within Sage 300cloud is relatively easy and educational.
From an admin perspective, the software's usability is high. The different components are organized in a way that is easy to figure out, for example, all elements of a plan are under the Plan Design section. There are some areas where searching within the system is a bit cumbersome because after clicking into a result and back out it clears your filter. I found the software easy to navigate when I first started and the amount of documentation and helpful videos they have on the community and within the University make the system even easier to learn.
In general the system is nearly always available. But the daily achievement calculation takes a hugh amount of time. therefore it was in the past month sometimes only from midday onwards completely updated and usable for Sales employees. Xactly support was and still is working hard to get it available early mornings. Availablility time has increased a lot. It's now down to around 10 am in the moring
Xactly is a very helpful tool ensuring appropriate and correct data is used when calculating commissions. The interface loads timely, but it is not intuitive to use. The learning curve to be proficient in Xactly takes a significant amount of time.
When I think I have broken the platform the help guys and girls are simply fantastic. They take time to understand the problem and usually resolve the issue on the spot. I have not had to wait more than an hour to get anything resolved - be that an issue I have created or a fault in my understanding of the program. Can't rate their support I have received to date highly enough.
Support for Sage 300cloud is similar to Sage support. Depending on which channel you get to and which Specialist you get, the Support can be spot on and rapid. However, there can be wait times and [occasionally], new functionality isn't always well supported. Support documentation is great and [easily] accessible. Additionally, Support Consultants are great resources when it comes to learning and troubleshooting Sage 300cloud.
They take the time to understand the system. They keep us updated on the status of our cases. Finally, their continued follow up ensuring the initial issue was resolved is very nice. They will not close the case out until they have confirmed that our issue has been completely resolved and fixed.
It was great, good explanations and good training material provided, we were able to get a really good idea of how to use the system. I also think that it was enough time to learn how to setup the system.
Xactly offers training on new releases on a monthly basis and training on basic principles regularly via registration. My experience with both is that they do not provide the in-depth knowledge necessary to truly master the system and advanced courses still do not go to the level needed to autonomously manage the system and plans. Professional services are a large part of any cloud based service such as Xactly and I feel a reliance on such paid consulting services is a great money-maker for Xactly.
Go into implementation knowing how you will handle churn, if there are claw backs, treatment for every type of commission payment (i.e. new business, renewals, etc.) and know your average customer life. You'll also want details by customer for as far back as you can go (within reason).
I have never been able to get Expensify to work for me. The reports are just completely unintuitive and I end up having my client generate the report I need and send it to me instead. For QBO the restriction on which email addresses can send receipts is too limiting. They also do not extract data well and the overall system is very clunky compared to Dext. Of course the trade-off there is that you aren't paying a separate monthly subscription fee.
Sage 300cloud is a great cloud/web based option when stacked against Sage 300 and Sage 100 Contractor. These other two systems are on premise and require licenses to access. Sage 300cloud can be accessed from any web page and is a pay as you go model. Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle JD Edwards World are better for larger organizations that are heavy into Service and Work Order Management.
We've also looked at Lattice, which is a compensation management software, but we found that it was lacking in terms of integration with Salesforce as well as inefficiency. Updates it usually takes a longer time for sales and Salesforce to translate to Lattice, and we find that with Xactly it usually takes about one business day, which is always beneficial to have things updated quicker.
It's very flexible. In most cases it can be adapted to your needs by programming which may cost extra money. We have a lot of different complans and close to 1.000 employees using Xactly in EMEA. It's mainly used by Sales and Finance
Receipt Bank has helped alleviate the frustration felt by both our clients and our staff when it comes to the detail needed for some of the organizations that we serve. In some cases it's just NECESSARY to have all of that detail for the financial statement preparation, and prior to Receipt Bank, we had to email back and forth, download attachments, manually enter the information into Quickbooks Online, save the document etc. It was a tedious process. Receipt Bank took care of all of that, and it saves both our clients and our staff HOURS of work each month.
Receipt Bank has given our clients the confidence to make their work places paperless offices. It frees time and money for them, because they don't have to keep track of the documents, they don't have to store the documents (and find a place to store them), and they never have to file them away. Receipt Bank archives all of the documents so you can find them if you ever need them, and the documents are in their financial data as well, which is where they really need them. I've never had a client regret going to Receipt Bank just because it makes life so much simpler for them.
Hard to say - Accpac (in one form or another) is all we have ever used, thus there is no real comparison to make to show impact vs another application.
Sage 300 ERP is the backbone of our organization - efficiently dealing with payroll and budgets in excess of 30 million dollars per year.
