TalentLMS is user-friendly enough for someone new to LMS management can get a site up and running in a relatively quick manner. It is rather intuitive to operate. My needs have been a rather small scale of 400 learners and TalentLMS more than meets the need to produce a professional-looking and operational website to send customers and staff. The point here is that although I do not know how well it can be up-scaled, it certainly delivers for small to medium organizations to need to get content online
If you have a community that you need to train on security awareness, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training does a great job of creating current, up to date modules that can be disseminated to the community. Everything is tracked, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training takes care of any reminders including notifying supervisors if wanted, and everything is reportable to show that you have a vibrant training system. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training also offers testing where it will send out simulated attacks that hopefully your community will flag. This helps validate that the program is working as well as allowing you to customize your training efforts to what the community is failing on.
Email notifications have arbitrary limits on what information can be included. For example, you cannot include the user password in any notification email regarding course enrollment, group enrollment, etc.
Notification emails are not sent out in a reasonable time frame. Sometimes, it takes over 20 minutes for a new user to get their registration email.
It would be nice to get reports in the base domain containing customer user fields from various branches.
Campaign settings are overwhelming and non-intuitive
While the domains available for sending phishing emails are numerous, they are still often obviously fake
Certain features are locked away behind paid addons, when they should be incorporated in the base tool/licence, e.g. PhishER. It's fine that, for example, Compliance+ is an added feature, but PhishER is practically integral to the task KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training performs
Between the ease of use, cost effectiveness, functionality and continued improvements Knowbe4 continues to make it would be pretty hard to find another competitive product that wraps it all up like KnowBe4 has. Not saying it couldn't happen, but haven't seen anything that competes at this point.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training gets a ten out of ten. It's very easy to implement, maintain, and make changes. Adding the Phish Alert Report button into Outlook was painless, and setting up training just takes a few clicks. The UI feels modern and is very easy to navigate, both from the admin and user sides.
There have only been a handful of outages in the 2 years we have had the product. Even during those instances, parts of the system were still operational
Pages load quickly, filter/sort quickly, and don't slow down or freeze. Everything is smooth and very easy to use. There are a places in the UI where you can forget how to get there, but other than that everything is great. We have had no issues using any part of the website.
Quick answer, comprehensive, and customized. I sent an email with multiple questions and feedback about their new UI, and the agent addressed all of them directly and honestly no sugar-coating and no call center lingo. Most questions can also be addressed directly in their UI with a really good help center widget.
Tech prod support is great! I did have to ask for a new customer success rep, needed a more experienced person to match my 12 years of experience running Cybersec training programs. Would suggest that more matching of rep level of knowledge to client level knowledge would help.
confusing question. I inherited this application so I didnt get any formal training other than the person who was leaving. The CSM provided some later on when I asked in a zoom call
Implementation was relatively easy. When we set up a second branch, we needed a little help. But the support area is well-detailed. My clients had no experience with an LMS and their digital skills were limited. We had a long way to go. Nevertheless, it was relatively easy. It was rather quick!
The implementation went really well and KnowBe4 was there the whole time on setup to make sure things were setup correctly. The only thing we had to figure out on our own was to script users automatically being added to security groups. So that when they sync to knowBe4 from AD they are placed into the same/correct groups.
Both are good, but the pricing and general value proposition of Talent LMS are better than Trainual in my opinion. Trainual is a bit more modern and cleaner looking from a user interface perspective, but it comes at a higher cost. Both platforms provide very similar features in the way of general functionality and user experience, but Talent LMS wins because of its better pricing model.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has a lot of good features that Mimecast was missing. Mimecast does not have a proper inventory of videos like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. Mimecast does not have animation based videos. Most of the users of my company like animated videos because it is east to understand. Like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, Mimecast do not have a proper phishing test setup and you cannot test your end users on a phishing campaign. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has games and quizzes of high quality that Mimecast was missing. With the help of Kevin Mitnick videos, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has an edge in technical vides over any other vendor. With the awareness training, KnowBe4 has other products like PhishER and Security Coach that help us to improve overall security. The customer support of KnowBe4 is excellent.
The product scales greatly. As long as you upgrade the license to support the number of users you are needing, adding in those new users is easy. Also getting those users set up with trainings/campaigns is very easy as well
The team was great to work with and took their time to ensure that we knew what we were doing with the product and that it was set up to meet the specific needs of our organization. This wasn't just a cookie-cutter deployment, but rather they focused specifically on our needs.
