Google Ads is one of the more advanced tools, all the above tools listed are great and provide very advanced features for advertising on those platforms. Usually a business would use multiple tools. Google Ads is great as it is very fined and established so you know what you …

Facebook can be less expensive but everyone uses Google, so you have to run ads on Google. Other search engines also have similar features. The traffic on Google is significantly higher than its competition. Facebook ads can be an alternative but it doesn't quite work like a …

Google Ads aims to find new business prospects by connecting your relevant business to their search intentions, instead of targeting new prospects by their demographic characteristics, expressed interests or other traits. This allows a business to find new and unexpected …

Compared to these other three I generally find Adwords to be more effective than Facebook and Twitter Ads but generally less effective than good old email marketing. Granted I tend to work with clients to build high quality email lists before they are sending out email, which …

Google Ads and Facebook Ads have much wider target demographics, however, these two options out-weigh Twitter Ads which only has two options for running Ads. That being said with the lack of ad features, Twitter doesn't stack up against the two.
Chose X Ads
More people are on Twitter nowadays. So we get more outlook on our promotions and more followers. Most people skip over Google Ads because they implement their ads way too much on one page, Google Ads also give an option for people to skip ads and people want to skip ads no …

Compared to Google Ads, I think X ADS is easier to get going, but can take longer to see results. X ADS is signficatly better at understanding performance than Reddit ( who I believe is the worst of the big channels out there). Similar to Meta, audience information can be …
Chose X Ads
This is our first tool for advertising through Twitter, but we also used similar tools for Quora, Reddit and Facebook ads. All of them have similar interfaces and basics.
Chose X Ads
Of all the social advertising options we've tried, Twitter falls somewhere in the middle - it's not as low-cost as Facebook, but not as effective for our audience either. It's more cost-effective than LinkedIn, but the targeting is not as robust. It's been a good-enough …
Chose X Ads
Twitter ads are really designed for advertising on Twitter. I believe that it is the most effective strategy for advertising on the platform. However, the key is to understand your audience. If your target audience doesn't really use Twitter, then it may be better to focus on …

I would say I have the same experience with Facebook Ads as I do with Twitter Ads. The ability to target by interest and demographic really helps the Foundation to reach the users we want and know would benefit from connecting with the Foundation. Google search ads also allows …

Google Ads is a useful advertising tool to build brand exposure and generate lead volumes for your chosen product. Whilst it can be costly at times due to competitor bidding strategies and requires constant monitoring to ensure campaigns perform as expected, it typically provides the desired quality and quantity of leads for custom budgets.

I think for the purpose of our business, WideOrbit is one of the better systems I have worked on. No system is every perfect, but WideOrbit seems to be a lot better than the system we've worked on in the past. The fact that it is able to integrate other third-party systems into it is also very helpful. We have recently moved to a new avail system for our sales executives, and the fact that they can easily transfer avails and schedules into the order system in WideOrbit is very helpful.

I highly recommend Twitter Ads for users looking to establish a strong online presence on the platform and the digital sphere. While a little on the expensive side, the payoff, in the long run, is quite remarkable especially that Twitter Ads will show your content to all the followers gained (while other platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, use algorithms that might place your daily content lower or won't even show them to your fans)..

Pros
Google
  • Automated targeting via Smart Shopping campaign. It's one of the best campaign types in Google Ads. In the beginning, you may see lower revenue and ROAS, but once you give some meaningful time to your campaign, it is most likely to perform well.
  • Smart bidding strategies: Google Ads has developed some really great bidding strategies such as maximizing conversion and maximizing conversion with ROAS settings. Based on one's requirement and their goal with revenue and target ROAS, they can choose the appropriate bidding strategy.
  • Reporting: A business owner and advertising must know about their audiences, how their campaigns have been performing, what's working and what's not, and for that reason, powerful, effective reporting is needed, and Google Ads provides rich details reporting that covers almost every aspect of a business.

  • Wide Orbit offers a wide variety of reports, as a user- you are able to maximize these to your advantage and include as much or as little information as necessary for internal use or for your clients.
  • It's fantastic to be able to reference all of our orders in one place and track completion process from order entry to approvals and actual air time/run dates
  • Very user friendly and efficient to use.
  • The Revenue Reports are especially wonderful, and can be sorted according to whatever perimeters you desire.

  • Twitter Ads, just like every form of internet ads, enable us to target users based on their geographical location. This has been very vital for occasions when we are trying to raise awareness about new products specifically tailored for customers and clients from a particular location.
  • Twitter Ads is significantly more cost effective than traditional adverts we run on mainstream TV stations and newspapers, especially since most of our campaigns majorly target the younger generation. Of this group, we are aware that the younger generation in South Africa spend more time on the internet than they ever do sitting behind their TV set or even reading newspapers.
  • Twitter Ads makes it possible to engage live with Twitter users as they view our ad campaigns. This allows us to clarify information , respond to questions and even qualify leads while our campaign is running. This obviously is not possible with traditional mediums of advertisement.

Cons
Google
  • If you don't know what you're doing, it will be a costly mistake. You need to target ads, and it is difficult the first time to do that.
  • There isn't a feature to run an add for a couple set date spans, just hours you want to run them or a single date span.

  • would like to have better functionality when exporting to XL or to PDF. Formatting could use improvement with output
  • offer a monthly calendar of training opportunities like Nielsen offers

  • Limitation of characters to only 140.
  • While the targeting of Twitter is relevant most of the time, it is not always right and there are some ads that are completely unrelated to the search terms entered.
  • Not as many users as Facebook.

I think Google Ads is good for getting your company out there and becoming more visible to potential customers in general. However, for specific product launches, social media advertising might be a better fit. Also, our user base is younger so social media is a better channel for our target audience.

Usability
Google
This is more of a subjective rating, because I think it can be increased with how much our ad spend is. The more of an ad spend, the more visibility we can get, and therefore all features can climb. With an overall larger presence the usability is that where we can get messages out quick, and that's the main thing we try to do with our campaigns.

Just not for my company and me. Bad environment with too many bots and AI things going on. It isn't worth my while to pay to do anything on this site. I will continue to post for free for the exposure. I hope the company sells and gets better. Need to verify people are real.

Our agency invests heavily in Google Ads (particularly paid search advertising) on behalf of our clients relative to competitors like Microsoft and Yahoo because Google is the top search engine in the world. Google collects the most search data which enables the company to improve its AI to drive better performance for agencies and brands. As such, our paid search and app install campaigns always start with Google. If a client has a large budget, we will allocate media dollars to other search engines, but in some cases, the entire search budget goes to Google because we see the best returns.

I would say that WideOrbit is much better than Pilat in terms of its ease of use. One major factor was that WideOrbits customer support is stateside and easily reachable if help is needed. Pilat was located in Europe I believe and getting assistance was very hard. As far as just the overall day to day usage, WideOrbit is leaps and bounds better in the area of functionality

Facebook Ads, Adwords, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube all have ad channels you can use to advertise your product. Some are even tied together. Twitter occupies a part of the market which can be difficult to get right. Mostly, we select other channels for better targeting, cheaper leads, and a better fit for the campaigns we were trying to run. However, there are scenarios in which using Twitter Ads can get you big wins.

Return on Investment
Google
  • Google Ads is often one of our highest ROI channels, especially when you factor in branded ads.
  • Depending on the stage your business is in, search ads can be really powerful from an ROI perspective, providing an investment with a very high spend cap.
  • If you do not manage the campaigns well though, you can quickly spend a lot of money on nothing. So make sure someone is keeping an eye on your account.

  • One Positive Impact has been that having ads running has increased the number of followers we have on Twitter.
  • Another positive impact is that due to having more followers, we now have more visits to our site.
  • A mixed impact would be that positively, since we have Adwords implemented as well, we can track back the source of our website traffic to being from a social source like Twitter. The negative of it is that Twitter ads does not have the tracking capability and we still need Google Adwords to do so.
