Considered Both Products
Google Meet
Chose Google Meet
Google Meet is about the same level of convenience and I use it like Skype and BlueJeans for my needs and my subscription levels. Zoom and Microsoft Teams (which we subscribe to as well) have much better features for our educational use cases like classrooms.
Chose Google Meet
On comparison Microsoft Teams has a lot more features and can prove to be more effective but Google Hangouts Meet is a lot more easy to use and has a free version for everyone. The service is more stable than of Microsoft Teams.
Chose Google Meet
It stands out because of its user friendly interface which is quite intuitive and simple to use and its integration with Google work space. Unlike Zoom which comes up with more advanced webinar features. Meet provides ease of use and accessibility. As compared to Microsoft Teams
Chose Google Meet
I use Microsoft Teams, but obviously Google Meet is much better than that because there are some challenges which I see as part of this. One of the main pros that I see here is that in Google Meet, whenever you have all those recordings as part of the Google Suite, you have …
Chose Google Meet
Similar to Google Meet, as I said, Teams — I use Zoom, I use… I’m not a fan of Zoom, although it’s cool, really cool. I find Google Meet easy, but Teams, I would say, has many more features than Google Meet. So these are the three platforms I usually work with.

Slack is not capable of handling large attendees so we are using Google Meet when number of attendees are higher.

Chose Google Meet
Google Meet provides good facilities at many situations than any other software.
Chose Google Meet

We haven't actually selected Google Meet as a replacement for the others - rather each has its own niche.
Chose Google Meet
If I was to choose, I would go for MS Teams or Skype as it helps me to keep minutes or other notes and get back to them whenever I need. I am not a huge fan of Zoom however depends on how the organiser sets it up it allows downloading chat/minutes that I personally find very …
Chose Google Meet
At the time we stayed with Google Hangouts Meet as it was already integrated into our main email delivery.
Chose Google Meet
Each of these tools have their own advantages but Google meet is a great tool when it comes to having an entire package right from sending out an email to syncing the calendar and then having the meetings.
Chose Google Meet
Google Meet has almost all the same features that other applications offer, basically you dot need to worry about missing features since you're at the same level. Google meet has a modern design, light application with a very easy UI.
Chose Google Meet
Google Meet stands out among other similar products in many ways, but the one way it particularly outshines all of them is the unlimited time period.
Chose Google Meet
The decision was easy to make, although Google Hangouts Meet, Skype and Zoom met the initial objective, we were inclined to choose Google Hangouts Meet because it not only does a much better job, it is easy to use, it's secure, and guarantees confidentiality in all connections, …
Chose Google Meet
I feel all the other options have a huge list of features. Some of them support host permission sharing, large audience, whiteboards, anonymous participants etc. But the whole point of using Google Meet is the ease of access. With no installation required, it covers almost all …
Chose Google Meet
Webex Meetings has a very old UI and also has connectivity issues most of the time. Google Hangouts Meet is free of cost and on the other hand, Webex Meetings are paid and do not offer much in return. Further, it also does not have such features as google hangouts meet.
Chose Google Meet
Easy access to the Google Hangouts Meet service makes all the difference. Compared to other video calling services, Google Hangouts Meet is much more intuitive and easy for users to access. The only negative point is the fact that we are unable to record the meetings, which …
Chose Google Meet

Chose Google Meet
Google Hangouts Meet is a more relaxed version of Teams and Adobe Connect. It’s certainly easier to access and easier to use. I would say it compares better with Zoom although I think that Google Hangouts Meet is even easier to use and access than Zoom. The other software has …
Chose Google Meet
All of the above perform about the same. I would probably say that the audio and the video quality is probably superior to the other apps. Also, integration with other social media platforms is superior.
Chose Google Meet
Zoom has an advantage over Google, as it has better audio and video quality. The host has more authority over attendees. Zoom also has an advantage that it can used in any web browser while Google Meet can only be used in Chrome browsers. When it comes to the free version, …

Microsoft Teams have more features and options then Google Meet, Teams is a well organized and proper software that can be downloaded for both PC and mobile phone.
Chose Microsoft Teams
MS Teams is less user friendly than Google Meet, The ease of use is not available for people who are not tech savvy. It requires several credentials to enter not like a SSO.
Chose Microsoft Teams
Teams is generally better and has a more professional "feel" than Skype, Google Meet, or Zoom.
With Teams, access control is less easily managed than with Skype, Google Meet, or Zoom.
Teams has better internal security than Zoom. I have never been "bombed" on Teams, whereas …
Chose Microsoft Teams
I love Slack and the functionality it has! However, it lets itself down that you can't have client meetings through it / need to use another app like Google Meet for the meetings. It just is more apps/logins needed for employees = time that could be used doing other things.

Chose Microsoft Teams
Breakout rooms are a very good feature that should be added to the platform. Google Meet ranks above Teams on the web, as it's pretty lightweight; Teams tries to do so much, making it very slow or unstable when just using the web version. Teams is superior to Zoom when it comes …

If you have a small team, use Google Meet. If you want to have a weekly check-up, use Google Meet. If you want to do a small hosting of conferences — kind of like a webinar, I would say to be very specific — Google Meet is really, really good. So that’s what my recommendations are.

It is well-suited for an organization with many team members who are scattered throughout different locations. It offers organization and clarity to projects, files, and tasks in one centralized location. It would be a bit of an overkill for a small organization where everyone is in the same location 5 days a week

Cons
Google
  • One of the challenges that I see is that whenever we have in a meeting, we won't be able to drop some of the documents that we have. That's one of the big challenges which I see in Google Meet. At that point of time, we either have to Slack or we have to share an email. We cannot do that, like sending that particular document in the Google meet chat.

  • Better search for documents and contact with AI
  • offer the same security for document sharing as is available in outlook. Especially concerning PII and documents shared to "external" contacts.
  • Contact is hidden away in "Calls" and needs to be better exposed like it use too.

This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom

If you have the full Microsoft Office suite, it works really well because it's integrated well within its ecosystem, but if not, it can be annoying because it tries to open a shared file in the web versions of the file equivalents. The web version is also a bit slow, and the login is very difficult to handle if you have multiple Microsoft or Outlook accounts.

The overall support provided by Microsoft for Microsoft Teams has been quite good but there is still some room for improvements. Microsoft needs to proactively work on fixing the open bugs in order to provide a seamless experience to the users. The main positive feature in Google Meet over Zoom to me is the fact that Google meet can be seamlessly deployed in the browser with its full functionality. Unlike Zoom for which you need to download an extra application to use. This consequently makes workflow smooth when transitioning between something like emails and taking part in a meeting.

Microsoft Teams offers a much more integrated experience between their chat and video call function compared to Google Chat and Slack. Both other tools are much better for internal communications are they have simpler UI without other features. Whereas Microsoft Teams can be used for more critical conversations, particularly between external companies, and has been very useful in sales conversations which is what we chose it for when speaking to companies that work exclusively through Microsoft.

  • Negative: on each webinar someone from our team had to write manually the people that were participating and after that matching it with the registered people list. We wasted time. It could be easily resolved by adding the export list feature

  • Because our unit decided to go all in with Microsoft Products, the integration and flow of our communication and files are seamless.
  • Microsoft Teams is very secure. Only those who are logged in with their university credentials can access the files we share and the events we host. Therefore, we don't have to worry about privacy and security for the virtual events we host.
  • If our virtual events are open to the public, joiners outside the organization often struggle to join because Microsoft Teams is not the most familiar tool amongst the public.
