Paylocity provides 24/7 access to your online payroll and human resource data management. Paylocity offers highly customizable payroll functionality, as well as HR, benefits administration, and time and talent management programs.
Easy to use, easy to teach, user-friendly platform. Helps your team stay organized and on track of requests/candidates. Integrates smoothly [with] any other external or internal tools that you might have as part of your recruitment process. Workflow establishment, along with …
Paylocity was the best "bang for our buck" in terms of what the system offered versus what the cost was of implementation and continuous use. We love the mobile features, and Paylocity is great for a company of our size (currently just under 100 employees). We also chose …
Paylocity was selected by a previous employee, just before I started working with my current employer. I believe that they were unfamiliar with many payroll products and selected Paylocity based on a demo that they viewed or attended. The best experience I have had was with isol…
Paylocity is night and day compared to Paycom. We had a terrible time doing everything in that system from payroll to benefits admin to general personnel info tracking. The worst things about Paycom (besides the software) was their customer service, which never answered …
Paylocity was implemented before I arrived. However, compared to the other HRIS systems out there, it seems like it has the best balance of easy to use/has all the tools that we need to succeed. Many other companies may have better of either, but Paylocity has the best balance.
Paylocity is more robust. It has everything in one site. Other sites we have used in the past there always seems to be something we need to use another site for, usually this is payroll that we have to have on another service. But paylocity has the payroll function and makes it …
Since it allows you to tag candidates based on their level of talent or potential utility to the company, it is best used to identify the best prospects in large operations, such as multi-franchise oriented businesses that cover all kinds of sales. It can be used to make periodic assessments of the level of employee growth in certain departments, and based on the results let us know if certain employees would do better working in another type of area, so that the overall work operations are more uniform. JazzHR could excel in departments that use a high level of reporting, as its administrative tools provide high content reports with statistics on the performance of each employee or candidate at different levels.
In my opinion Paylocity is suitable for any organization. Where it really starts to help is when you get to a size of 20+ employees. It allows you to streamline your processes, keep employee data secure, and allow for continued growth and development of your team. Prior to using Paylocity we were handling all of our payroll through Quickbooks which worked prior to our company growth where we needed more functionality and security. As we have grown and implemented new Paylocity products our focus has been on the experience our employees have and what can be done to make things easier for them throughout the entire employee lifecycle
Learning could be updated and include relevant compliance trainings.
Benefits module can use an upgrade to include retirement plan enrollments.
Compliance tracking and reminders throughout the year.
File feed setup takes too long and has been very difficult for us. Communication during this process needs to be better. End users should have direct access to the person or team that is working on the connectivity with vendors.
It worked well for the majority of our needs and is still in use even though I've left the company. The Resumator was an interim solution until we found a system that integrated with all our other internal systems. However, we ended up staying with it because of ease of use
I give a rating of 10 because the transition was flawless, at each step of the way we had a dedicated Paylocity rep helping us during the transition. This gave us peace of mind as we switched over from another payroll provider so we weren't familiar with Paylocity. The transition was smooth
It's not a 10 due to the eTemplates. If those were less time-consuming to set up and if some common forms were available to select from already set up, then I would give it a 10.
I've been able to navigate everything on my own and I've been able to figure out almost all of it by myself. I like hands on experience so I only rely on service if I've exhausted all resources to figure something out.
Each person I've spoken to have been helpful, positive and encouraging. Once you begin using JazzHR, they have intervals in which they reach out to you to see how you're doing or if you have any questions. When you're setting up, they review what you've done and offer praise as well as suggestions on how to make it work better for you. They offer webinars and online training videos to walk you through every process.
The nicest thing I can say about Paylocity's support is I run into the same support issues with every payroll company. Paylocity's support is no better or worse. With high turnover rates and employees being stretched across multiple company's it is hard to get good responses. I can usually get responses back to simple questions quickly but when you get to intermediate to difficult questions the support is lacking.
The training was live online, but was with a group of other companies. We did not receive any personalized training with our team. Whenever we would ask for training, we would be sent a peak article link or a video. It felt like the reps we dealt with didn't know the answer to the questions.
A solutions consultant walked me through each step. It was easy. As I progressed in setting things up, their support contacted me to set a time to walk through any possible issues and make suggestions on a better way to set it up. At any time, if I had a question, they were available and there are also training documents and videos available.
I would make sure you have a dedicated team at Paylocity to complete the implementation. We had staff from Paylocity quit and things were not completed properly. They dropped the ball so to speak on that portion of it. we have encountered multiple issues since then and are still not using the Time off tracking to its full capabilities.
Both Greenhouse and Lever at least seemed to have great products and great teams; they simply weren't worth 2-5X the cost for us. Now, let's be clear - a platform that helps you hire the best people is a certainly worth 2-5X (or perhaps 10X) the cost. However, for most small and medium businesses, the three platforms are very similar. Once you have ~100s of different positions or ~100,000 applicants, then a more advanced ATS could be worth the cost. For us, Jazz is excellent. We have about 8 types of roles and 250 employees, and we see the Jazz system working very well for us even as we grow to 1,000+ employees.
ADP Workforce Now cannot compete with the customization and user friendly set up of the time & labor module. The user has more control over big company changes and I dont have to call in every time I want to make an update to the set up. That alone saves hundreds of hours. Paylocity is a superior product, has superior customer service and provides a superior user experience. There is no comparison.
