Intune does not have remote desktop. Intune also does not do 3rd party patching very well. Manage Engine Desktop Central requires a VPN Client to access the remote clients. It also requires quite a bit of configuration to work well. GoTo Resolve is the most complete tool I …
GoTo Resolve is more reliable compared to some of the others listed. They all have their pros and cons, but GoTo Resolve is more well-rounded for our use case. You will not be disappointed in GoTo Resolve.
LogMeIn Resolve is great for ad-hoc remote support with end users or customers that need on-demand assistance. The unattended support function makes it easy to connect to devices within an organization and provides several options on starting up the session that were not available with previous services. I can log in remotely to my work PC and black out the screen, so any sensitive information remains confidential.
ManageEngine Endpoint Central will save you many hours if you spend a lot of time installing software. You can set software to deploy with just a few clicks and even setup a self service for users to install software themselves. Other features like remote connection allow you to connect and assist users wherever they are. Automatically patch software to keep your clients secure. There is a wealth of information and potential with ManageEngine Endpoint Central to carry out most tasks.
It would be nice to have a one-click launch capability. There are times when walking through a user who isn't experienced that they have a hard time launching the program.
A batch file that launches a network connection and the program at the same time.
More granular access level controls for technicians (restrictions for juniors) on the Mobile Device Management add-on
Monitoring mobile data usage on mobile devices, this has been in the product pipeline for 5 years, but not yet implemented
Ability to remotely support company-owned mobile devices with no end-user permission. End-user needs to allow the remote session, when sometimes that's what we don't want since we're doing an investigation.
I would say yes, we would definitely renew, everyone likes it in the IT dept, and there are more features we have yet to put to use. I am expanding the Windows update / Endpoint features as I get time, and the remote PowerShell console is unbeatable for me at present when facing remote computers that are not letting create a new remote PSSession.
ManageEngine is considered an excellent product due to its comprehensive suite of solutions for IT management, with ManageEngine Endpoint Central specifically excelling in endpoint management. The platform stands out for its user-friendly interface, robust features, and versatility in addressing diverse IT needs. It offers organizations a centralized solution for endpoint security, patch management, software deployment, and asset management
Navigation is easy and friendly. It does almost everything, but being cloud, it gets slow. Session recording is allowed. Zoom in and out feature works very well, especially during remote sessions and multiple machine sessions simultaneously. Dual-screen monitors are accessible. East and convenient user interface. The diagnostics feature is outstanding, and it gives detailed diagnostics of the system. So these are the pros that prompt me to provide such ratings.
Great product, very easy to use. Does exactly what we want without any fuss. The interface could be a bit more modern and less cluttered but overall functionality is excellent. Once you're familiar with the menus it's easy enough to get around and do what's needed. We're very happy with the product.
Usually available without a problem, although sometimes calls get dropped or users sit in empty meeting rooms while waiting for an admin to arrive, while the call is actually going on.
If you are connected to someone with proper bandwidth, there are no issues at all. With all things, if you connect to someone with dial-up (yes, it still exists), the performance is terrible.
Ive used their tech support a handful of times, and each time they have been able to help me sort out any hiccups or kinks that arise. They have a resourceful knowledge base, and have experts available for training and troubleshooting. I often recommend them to my other coworkers and colleagues because of the ease of use and security
The local distributor of the product is always available, however most support is received within an hour from India. We've had complex requirements and the support team went so far as to customize their mobile application to suit our unique needs. We honestly can't complain about any support we've received and it's always been very quick.
GoToAssist SeeIt was very easy to implement. As long as your techs have a basic understanding of most remote support tools they will be able to understand this product easily.
GoTo Resolve is not necessarily an app that I personally chose to use in my organization; this is just one of many that I have interacted with and experienced through the different organizations that I have worked at over the years. However, I will say that I enjoy the engaging colors of GoTo Resolve in comparison to the other competitiors.
We chose ManageEngine Endpoint Central primarily on cost and usability. The support from the account managers at ManageEngine Endpoint Central has also been fantastic. NinjaOne came out a lot more expensive and in terms of usability was not as well received by our Agents when we tested it out with them. I am not sure about the level of support from NinjaOne as we did not test this out in the evaluation.
GoTo Resolve has dropped our overall expenditures for the GoTo product line by 80%. We were at one point paying for Assist, Webinar, Meeting, and Connect... and were able to drop three and keep the latter with Resolve to meet all of our needs.
GoTo Resolve would likely have an even greater ROI if we actually utilized many of it's other features, such as the HelpDesk and device management. Being a smaller company, we don't have a need for a ticketing system and things of that nature.
The reporting feature contains an amazing amount of useful information about the remote sessions conducted.
