Sprout Social / Agorapulse work much better for content management and overall marketing objectives. None of these can be used in lieu of Facebook Pages Manager simply because they can't control settings/admin the way that Pages Manager does. Again, you can't avoid using Pages …
Our team actively uses Meta Business Manager, Hubspot, and Active Campaign for different reasons, audiences, and types of content. Of these platforms, Hubspot tends to be my go-to platform. It has effectively the same limitations as Meta Business Manager (limited analytics, the …
While we looked at different possibilities, it just seemed that this program was designed for our key social media platforms. There really was no point in utilizing a different program when this was designed for these platforms specifically. The mobile app is an added …
While products like Sprout and Hootsuite will manage your Facebook Page along with the rest of your social media presence, using the official Facebook Pages [Manager] is superior when it comes to managing comments, placing ads, and reacting to customers quickly. The mobile app …
Facebook Pages Manager is the native analytics solution for Facebook. We've evaluated others, but found that for the most part, familiarity with this native platform is the best way to achieve ROI. Most other platforms must pull from this data source in one way or another, so …
I like how big the dashboard is on Sprout and Hootsuite, however, I prefer Facebook Pages Manager for my ability to track and promote my campaigns. I like the overall look of Hootsuite and Sprout as well but using Facebook directly for managing and monitoring makes me more …
I think Sprout Social is the most advanced of all these scheduling tools, it can handle the largest accounts and makes scheduling and responding to posts easy. it's the most expensive of these four (with meta for business free) but it's a you get what you pay for situation. I …
Sprout Social is easy to set up and use. It didn't take much time to get all of our marketing clients set up in the system, and it's an affordable social media management platform. Sprout allows us to manage multiple social media platforms for our clients and schedule their …

Meta Business Manger is well suited for large/medium and small organisations with single or multiple stake holders and products. It works very efficiently. Cases where app events are defined for android and iOS, it work wonders for campaign measurement and campaign level targeting. Meta Business Manager is very appropriate for running financial, educational, real estate, e-commerce related ads. Meta Business Manager is not appropriate if you have are into enterprise sales.
I love Sprout Social specifically for our large events. They're limited-time events, they allow us to do a lot at once and pull in the data we learn to our regular systems, and the ChatGPT integration lets us create content quickly and easily on the fly. However, I would not use this for your everyday social platform. There are simpler platforms. In my experience, Sprout Social seems needlessly complicated for most businesses and is certainly not cost-effective for most businesses. Unless you have a huge budget for social and/or it's truly your bread and butter for marketing strategy, I think Sprout Social is best suited for special events.
For each account, customize posts for each platform, and schedule them to go live simultaneously.
Employee Advocacy via Sprout Social has integrated AI assistance for captions. Usually I would generate one suggested caption for employees to use/stem from when re-sharing to their socials. But now, EA message ideas display in random orders to better promote the full range of content.
Sprout Social has made the option to gamify the sharing concept quite easily with Employee Advocacy. Using the Leaderboard feature, employees can earn points in Employee Advocacy. Customized point values ensure you know how to climb the Leaderboard and start some friendly competition.
Social media platforms don't always play nice with Sprout so it will always be a challenge to get all integrations to work properly.
Sprout Social is a growing organization and they are acquiring new technologies, which can be good. However, they often spend time in meetings upselling new services. I like to learn about enhancements and opportunities but prefer to focus on my investments first.
Sprout Social is the best platform out there for social-media management, and now that I have all my clients using Sprout Social, it would be sort of silly for me to walk away format at this juncture. The only cloud on the horizon would be if Salesforce bought it (as has been rumored) and put it inside its walled garden.
The UI is easy and intuitive for any beginner, but it also has a lot of depth for more advanced users. There have been very few cases where I could not do something I wanted to do regarding media buying. However, there are big limitations regarding account management, admin settings, and user appeals.
Sprout Social's ease of use and navigation throughout the technology are relatively easy to figure out and teach. We also had a representative thoroughly walk us through the features and functionality to set us up for success in using the platform. I didn’t give it a ten because there were times when the navigation didn’t make sense, but once you figured out the quirks, it didn’t cause any trouble.
Uptime was OK, but given the fact that we are in Europe, there were some specific problems: They tended to take the system down for maintenance during the night in the US, which was during our workday. This was definitely problematic and hard to explain to our clients.
Facebook is notoriously difficult to access for help and FBM is no exception. Only the chat feature will get someone in touch with you and then there is very limited help. The most they do is send links from their 'help section' without really offering much help at all. Business owners and directors need a person on the phone that can understand the problem and help fix it, not 'helpful links that have already been tried.
The chat and online resources are great. The managers are too. They go through account reps pretty fast. Also, not a lot of onboarding once a product or service is sold. The ticket request system is terrible, they have too many people switching off roles, they take a long time to get back to you and don't plan on anything being fixed over a weekend - even if you have a problem. Their customer service via tickets is the worst.
Their training is good, but the promotion of it is even better. I don't need or have the time for training, but I was always happy to know it was there. They did a great job sending updates out and making me aware when there was a new feature that I may want training for. As for the training I never used it, so I can't comment on that
Make sure you do it all the way. Do not break it into phases. Pour yourself a coffee, start it in the morning and you'll be done before you finish that coffee.
Facebook is a well-known platform that has to be utilized. It allows us to reach so many new customers and potential patients for our clients. As well as allows us to interact with them consistently and keep them informed or advertise to a new niche of people. The best part about Facebook Business Manager is its usability and reach!
We are constantly exploring our options and looking for the most cutting-edge products that suit our needs as a business. Sprout ticked the boxes for what we needed when it was time for a change. Both are powerful tools, and you can only see by doing.
Pro: It gives me a central place to manage my Page.
Pro: There are a lot of options to take advantage of, like Ads, available, which I hope to use more in the future.
Pro: The pixel has allowed me to connect Facebook data with my website, and has been a good referral source.
Con: There is so much I don't use because it is so complicated. I know I could get more use of it, but it's not going to happen anytime soon, and probably without help.
One positive impact has been a huge time saver for our team. Where we once had multiple systems and delays from producing content to approval to publishing, now everything is seamless.
Another positive impact is streamlining the onboarding process for new team members. Sprout Social is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to study even for someone completely new to social media.
One negative impact has been the time it takes to wade through irrelevant social listening posts. The filtering is not effective enough to eliminate the noise.
