Paycor's pricing for small, mid, and enterprise companies varies based on product bundle and company size. Because Paycor HR software is built to help businesses scale and grow, plans are based on the mix of HR products needed, and company size. Payroll is at the core of Paycor's offering, and their products are sold as a part of their payroll and HR platform.

Overall, I prefer it to the bigger HRIS systems that I work with (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity) and would chose Paycor above those listed. I do prefer utilizing other Ben Admin Systems (Gusto, Rippling, Ease) for pulling general reports, usability, and customer service needs for …
All platforms provide similar services in our world. Some are just a bit better than others and offer different spins on things or nuances that make it just that much better for the end user. Paycor is that added nuance factor.
Paycor was just the product that seemed to offer the most diversity of products and the easiest to use. Our previous software was too complicated when you needed to add a job code or change a benefit. Paycor makes these changes easy to do. The employee app was also the one …
Number 1 reason was price - based on all the functionality, we expected Paycor to come in a lot higher from a price point perspective but it was significantly less than the other software we looked. This made me a bit nervous because of how much the price difference was (I …
Rippling has all the features of Paycor, if not more, and the price is unbeatable compared to Paycor. The support I received while getting us onboarded and implemented was very impressive! We had someone to help us through the entire process and we were able to organize …
I would say that Rippling is the leader out of these I've mentioned. It's very easy to navigate, unlike Paycor or Paylocity. I was not the decision-maker on selecting Rippling, however, I've been very impressed as an end-user/employee. I'd like to learn more about their app …
The user interface and overall workflow of the Rippling application fare well against Paycor. All integrations that we wanted to incorporate have been seamless. Would certainly recommend it to others.
It's harder in Paycor to figure out what benefits I've elected for, especially when they're split up between being listed in Paycor and only being listed in the insurance vendor portal.

I believe Rippling has a more "up to date" feel to the interface it provides. Paycor also had issues with loading and logging hourly data, where as with Rippling, I have yet to have these issues. In addition, Paycor was under maintenance constantly. This was not ideal as an …
Paycor vs Rippling their are similarities but the major difference has been the customer service and self help tools. Rippling customer service is like no other. They are prompt and helpful at any time of day.
In my opinion, superior reporting and easier access to manage HR & Benefits. Not too many bells and whistles, the user-friendly platform and data set pulls are great for myself and my clients.
The pricing and what we currently need for our company where it stands, helped us decide on what product we wanted to use. With us being a growing company, it fit our needs for our current employees and being able to track them and any new employees we wanted to work with.
From the ones listed, Rippling definitely feels a lot more modern and responsive, especially in the app department. These older services definitely place an emphasis on the website as opposed to mobile or app design. When you need an answer quickly, app design is more important …
It's like going from using Jenkins to using github actions. So much cleaner, so easy, actually does things in a non-idiotic pay and it's cluttered so you have to sift through stuff.
Rippling is easier to use as they have easier ways to get to the icons and areas the customer needs to be in. Rippling is easier to navigate across and better to read. The pictures for each employee also appears better, and they employee profile is set up better through …
The Open enrollment tool is excellent. They need to improve the reporting tool and speed up the use of AI. I've seen other system demos and their integration of AI seems sophisticated in comparision to Paycor's. Paycor has integrated some AI into analytics but it lacking in terms of what it can do
With Rippling, we get a one stop shop for all things HR. Our benefits, pay, PTO, and leave management are all under one umbrella. This simplifies workflow and limits the number of systems we need to access to take care of day to day HR tasks. Despite the one-stop shop aspect of it all, some processes ended up being more problematic than others, for instance, sometimes PTO requests that have been approved do not register as such - and sometimes duplicate notifications go out on those approvals. To be fair to Rippling, this is likely user error on our part with initial or continued setup issues, but it is also not (seemingly) easily remediated. Our overall experience with Rippling has been positive. The simplicity and ease of use definitely overcome the few nagging issues that we have experienced.
With the click of one button Paycor Recruiting will seamlessly post a position to multiple job boards directly from their platform! We also post our job openings to our company careers page and our internal careers page which are included in the single click to post along with Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and ZipRecruiter.
The customized workflows in the applicant tracking system are excellent for staying organized and allowing both recruiters and hiring managers to quickly assess where each candidate is at in the hiring process. This helps ensure no candidates are getting duplicate calls, emails, or requests from those involved in the recruiting process.
The customizable templates are a huge time saver! You can create specific job templates to make posting position faster. You can create email and texting templates to make sure communication with candidates is consistent across the board. You can create offer letter templates and thank you letter templates as well so the information doesn’t have to be typed up from scratch every time. These features all make the recruiting process seamless and ensures that’s each candidate is getting the same great experience!
Three different options to view the hours you've worked in a pay period. All three are valuable in their own way! I love this and use each one every week.
Rippling has the option to retroactively log your hours later if you forget to log in before you start work. I love this because sometimes I take a work call on the go and don't have time to clock in first. Such a handy feature!
Rippling has also made putting in time-off requests (sick/PTO/etc) so much easier. I'm sure every HR team would appreciate this!
Support is really challenging and takes a long time to follow-up on and resolve issues.
Scheduling is very cumbersome and does not have adequate controls to ensure that team members that should not be able to edit schedules cannot change them.
They have limited solutions to problems and frequently say there is a work around which means the software is just not developed enough and they are aware of it.
Price point is the biggest driving factor. Paycor has made some strides in the customer service area and we've seen enough improvements that renewing our contract has become more a reality than a pipe dream. The system functions well and our employees are familiar with how it works, so to make a change would be a huge lift for our team
The AI assistant has always been able to direct me to the correct solution to any question i have about Rippling. Payroll is so easy, it takes about 10 minutes to go through the process.
Glitches. So many glitches. The customer service number provides basic troubleshooting, which doesn’t help; some issues take weeks to resolve, with no apparent reason why they occur. The system does not work on Safari. We have dealt with Payroll not working, which has caused a manual payroll to be run. Paycor representatives do not provide any assistance.
Rippling has an easy-to-use user interface and so far, employees at my company have really enjoyed using it. I find the modules for payroll, performance management, personal information, and benefits easy to navigate and appreciate that so many different features are integrated into one product. I much prefer it to our previous HRIS, Workday.
I feel like Paycor is always up and running! If they are planning downtime, they communicate it clearly. Every once in a while, I get something that says the system isn't working but it is usually back up within the hour. I typically find by the time that the employees complain about it, that it is resolved within the system.
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
For the most part, everything moves super fast. There are a few sections (Expense Management) that sometimes take a bit to load correctly. Or if they are interesting, it takes a minute to talk to each other! But reports are quickly downloaded and available! Even data heavy reports run fairly fast!
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
I feel like support will transfer you back and forth between departments and put you on hold forever. I believe it is very difficult to see the status of an open ticket. During my experience, it feels like the client has to push all communication and request updates from support regularly.
When I did have to reach out to Rippling for assistance I was able to get quick help and my problem resolved in a time efficient manner with out any type of hick up. The customer support team is professional, kind and always available. This makes Rippling more welcoming to use on a daily basis.
The online trainings are super helpful. They have user guides that you can read through, interactive training that will walk you through it as well as plain web based ones. I've actually never had an in-person training but all of the information you need can be found online. They also will do individual support training if you are struggling with a certain area.
Implementation of any new software is going to be challenging, especially if you are maintaining an existing program concurrently. When it is time for dual-processing (both old and new software) prior to going live, be prepared to be stressed. But trust the process and it will be over soon.
It's really easy to implement in comparison to other tools or applications. Different key points are easily configured and implemented as per need, having different configurations in systems. Implementation is something which binds the different parameters of an organization in a single row. Implementation of rippling is much easier, quicker, and error free than any other software. I recommend it strongly!
They seemed similar but Paycor was cheaper at the time. However, Paycor has so many fees they tack onto every invoice that may not be the case anymore. The support services supposedly were better at ADP but that was an unknown
Workday is built for large enterprises. Rippling is optimized for small to mid-sized businesses that want flexibility, fast execution, and fewer administrative hurdles. Rippling lets you pay only for what you use—payroll, benefits, device management, etc.—whereas Workday often comes as a large, bundled enterprise solution, which may be overkill for many organizations.
I gave it a 10 because we only use it across one organization. However, it has allowed us to break it into multiple departments and layers of management. It is also easy for us to utilize across different locations but still under one master company. They have always provided us support when we decide to change something on an organizational level
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
Number wise, this takes field employees LESS time to execute their process THUS saving money in the field.
This takes the office staff MORE time to process what the field is doing and costing MORE money on an executive level as opposed to an hourly or field level.
The ROI was not considered while joining as the amount of employees involved necessitated a change in the previous system.
Routine things like PTO requests and document uploads now take a few clicks instead of hours of email back‑and‑forth. I’d estimate I spend at least half the time on those tasks compared to before, which frees me up to actually help employees.
What used to drag on for days now gets done in a morning - I've just asked them this now. New hires can log in, set up their tools, and start training almost immediately, so they’re productive much sooner.
Payroll and benefits errors used to pop up regularly, but now I almost never have to fix things or follow up on missing info. That means less stress for me and for everyone involved.
Having everything in one platform cuts out the “where did you send that?” and “who approves this?” questions. It feels like we’ve reduced our back‑and‑forth by at least a third.
