Survey Distribution

Qualtrics is a good medium for creating surveys and getting analytics back for it. I think it's easy to learn if you are in the business of creating surveys or if it's part of your studies. It can be a little overwhelming for a brand new user who has never created a survey for the first time. So onboarding could be better.
I have used different products in the past. I am most please with Wufoo because it is easy to use, has multiple ways for your form to be displayed on your website, and submissions can be sent multiple ways as well. We use WuFoo for support emails from our customers, for dispatcher applications, as well as people sending in emergency incident tip information. This is the perfect program for us.
Qualtrics CoreXM is easy to use for quick one-time surveys or for measuring opinions over time
It's great for sending/managing RSVPs for meetings or other gatherings or to collect important data like Conflict of Interest declarations.
Qualtrics CoreXM's reporting and crosstab functionality is beefy and gets better all of the time. I'm always amazed at how easy it is to generate reports for sharing my survey response data and research.
Flexible, multiple entry forms: Wufoo allows users to create forms with multiple options or formats (radio, single choice, checkbox, text, paragraph text)
Conditional forms: Need to ask a question that only applies to a specific group? Then Wufoo is for you - it allows you to create conditional logic that allows you to reserve specific paths for specific entrants.
Integrations: Wufoo integrates with EVERYTHING via Zapier. You can sync it to Google sheets, email ESPs / CRMs, payment gateways... All kinds of applications for this software with its flexible uses & integrations, including embeddable HTML or direct integration to your website.
The collaborate feature can be clunky and sometimes we have to remove access and add a person back in for them to see the survey in their lists
We have a contract through our university and more than one person has created their account in the wrong place, causing some administrative headaches as that is fixed so that we can collaborate on surveys with them.
I wish it was easier to organize my surveys into folders, there should be a more efficient way to do that.
Wufoo has had a cap on the total number of fields you can use per form which has been a limiting factor for us when trying to build more complex forms.
Wufoo does not support tabular fields or repeating fields which is a drawback since it limits the types of questions you can ask.
Form organization in the admin interface is a little clunky and disorganized. It would be better if there were more customized options for organizing your library of forms.
I was impressed a couple years ago when two heads of market research at Fortune 500 companies told me about them, and I've been even more impressed with the advancements I've seen in the last year. I like where the company is headed, and I look forward to using them again in a future role.
I only give it this mid-range rating because, since the 2014 Super Bowl is history, our company will be closing in a couple months. I hope in my next employment opportunity that I will be able to use Wufoo again. I will probably use it to a limited extent in my personal life to communicate with friends and contacts in a unique manner. I am also working on a Certificate in Web Development and I definitely use Wufoo as embedded forms in websites I build.
All the menus are very user friendly and intuitive. I can always find exactly what I'm looking for and can change anything I need to with ease. All the elements of the survey are adjustable with very little effort and without confusion.
Wufoo's usability from the user to the client is simple. The forms are simple to construct and they are easy for our clients to fill out. I have yet to really hit something that is difficult to do and even when I do get a little stumped their excellent support team helps me through it.
Every time I try to use a different Form Builder - I constantly go back to Wufoo, especially compared to WordPress Plugin Form Builders. The biggest reason is the reliability of the form notifications getting sent and delivered are better than form builder that rely on the Wordpress Mail Send Feature. The only feature that I have found over the last 3 years that Wufoo is missing is the ability to customize the layout of the notification emails. But that is minor in the grand scope of its reliability.
Whenever we have had an issue with trying to figure out how to do something (even though the documentation is incredibly well put together) we have asked Qualtrics support and have always received our answer nearly immediately (I think in maybe 10 times, only once did a support person need to call us back). Qualtrics support is dedicated to solving customer issues right, and in the first contact, if at all possible
I will be completely honest - I have never needed to contact any specific support for Wufoo. This is because we've never had any problems with Wufoo that I'm aware of! It has proved to be a reliable and easy to use product, and therefore, we have not needed to reach out for any kind of support or assistance. I suppose this would speak to the exceptional quality of the product!
I still use it. It does everything you need an online survey to do. From heat mapping to complex skip logic and display logic. I use it weekly and it never disappoints
Implementing Wufoo was a seamless process. It was an instantaneous transition from the old pdf forms and webforms we were using to the easier to understand Wufoo forms. Employees learned it with ease and the clients response was instantaneously positive. Adding Wufoo to your workflow is not only easy it is necessary.
]Qualtrics] CoreXM is great if you want something that is a little more [long] lasting and impactful than a simple survey engine, but aren't quite ready for something that is a long term sustainable program. I would put [Qualtrics] CoreXM squarely in the large, defined project phase. CX is more of the program phase, and other lessor vendors are great for the pre-project definition phase
In terms of building reports, Wufoo is very similar to Google Forms. Both have the capability to edit live forms and immediately share them. Wufoo offers a few more features than Google Forms does as well. Overall, our department has looked at both options and continues to use Wufoo because of the data management and ease of building forms.
