TripIt is a travel management app offered by Concur, which allows users to organize and coordinate travel plans. Editions include a free version, TripIt Pro, and TripIt for Teams.
SAP Concur is a long standing software application and is used by most major organizations. SAP Concur is much more fit to scale. While the other competitors are also easy to use, SAP Concur is able to integrated with most ERPs and has the resources to do so. So even if there …
Expensify is easiest to use just through the mobile application. It's more user-friendly, easy to use, and intuitive. Workday is more or less similar to SAP Concur in terms of use, complexity, and reporting system.
We opted for SAP Concur for its ability to reach out to employees with outstanding transactions or receipts without requiring valuable staff time to hound other staffers. We've looked into other solutions, like Navan and Ramp, but Concur allows us to keep certain cards in their …
SAP Concur is very able to accommodate complex expense policies, especially on the enterprise level. Like a lot of SAP products, they can accommodate a lot of internal complexities, but the downside is that insights and analytics are way behind anything more modern. For many …
We have stuck with SAP Concur because we are looking for an expense reimbursement platform; not necessarily an expense management platform. Our employees use personal credit cards for business expenses and get reimbursed after the fact. Most other options we've been presented …
So I got this opportunity through my current and previous organizations. Since last 8 year this is my 3rd company I every company uses this SAP Concur depend on their requirement. And I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to use SAP Concur in every company I have worked and …
It stood out because of its scalability, integration capabilities and the global support system model and aslo it has enterprise grade controls. It has stable platform with long term scalability and broad industry adoption. Leadership needed better data visibility for financial …
SAP Concur has been providing some of the industry standard features along with keeping up with adding AI related features to make the platform more easy to use.
TripIt is cheap and easy to use. While the other apps and way more expensive and not so much easy to use at all. Google had a good travel app but for no reason it was discontinued.
TripIt is designed specifically to help individuals manage their travel info in one place. Before I used TripIt, I had to manually save my travel info in a Google Drive folder, add flights to my personal calendar, then manage multiple airline apps to get flight alerts. TripIt …
I haven't evaluated any others. I have been happy with TripIt so I have not felt the need to find others. I am not really aware of any others. I might eventually looks at others if TripIt stops coming up with enhancements. I have no plans to search yet.
I've tried google trips and Tripcase in the past, but it doesn't work as smooth as TripIt. They sometimes don't recognize the confirmation emails that I forwarded them.
I have not used or evaluated any other tool. Once I forwarded my first email and had it automatically show up in my itinerary, I was sold. There might be some other alternatives worth investigating which I have not used.
Earlier in my review, I talked about how my company implemented Concur and offered TripIt as an add-on. While Concur offers a mobile app that gives you some of your itinerary information, it doesn't have the same focus as a "one-stop-shop" that TripIt does. This is why TripIt …
TripIt has more features and is easier to use. More user-friendly. The pro version has several other benefits such as the ability to look for alternate flights and track reward points, seating, airport wait times for security, lounge buddy credit, more real-time updates, fares …
In general SAP Concur is a good solution for large multinational companies with high travel volume. It manages complex travel needs with connection to flights booking, hotels, car rentals, etc. It also helps if the organization has strict expense policies and expense audit requirements. It provides mobility helping with on-the-go expense management. The app will not be very helpful for small business organizations with small volume of travels because of its pricing model. Implementation and support costs are high. Also for organizations with non-SAP leading system it is better to look for another solution.
TripIt is one of those business apps that, while not strictly required, represents a huge quality of life improvement for those of us who travel regularly for work. Capturing your itinerary information in one place, so you have one point of reference is a great benefit. When you couple that with relevant notifications about your itinerary, and an Apple Watch app for quick at-a-glance information about your travel plans, you really can't beat it. Highly recommended.
Data syncing between the mobile app and the web platform may occasionally experience a little delay. That is not a major problem, but it can cause small inconsistencies in real-time data.
Concur's setup features may seem a little complicated to certain administrators.
Concur offers a number of powerful reporting services, but some users might want more in-depth options for tailoring reports to their own business requirements.
Now that we are fully on Concur, switching is not an option. Concur has become ingrained in our expense reporting process. Furthermore, Concur continues to improve its offering. Each month, they release updates and changes, many of which were client requested. Concur's constant evolution means it is adapting with my business
I have been using it for a while now and I did renew it every year because it is the best way for me to keep my travel plans in one place with easy visualization
I think it is very easy to use, especially once you are acquainted with it. I think the UX could be improved so some things, like accessing old reports, are more intuitive once you learn it though it is not difficult to replicate.
It is very easy to use and you can combine with Apple Watch por easier usage. Also, it can be synchronised with your gmail for automatically update your travel plans and that ways is even more helpful.
In prior years I would have given them a 9.5 for availability. Unfortunately in 2015 so far this rating has dropped to a 7 overall. We have experienced far too many interruptions - from admins to employees who rely on it for day to day booking of travel and submission of expense reports. Server errors, slow system response time and spinning wheels are too common place. Those things should be a rare occurrence, not a daily interruption.
While Conur still has great product offerings overall, they are currently not offering world class or best in class product (and customer service) availability. Remaining hopeful they step up and get their A game going again soon.
Performance-wise, it's good, loads pages quickly, and reports are highly accurate and easy to understand. Also, we can generate custom reports as needed, and we have integrated with a few other apps, and we have not seen any downgrade in performance.
pages load fast, notifications are great. up to minute. after deboarding- my next steps are displayed. Syncs with the hotel & frequent flyer rewards programs too.
I have never had to use customer support when using Concur Expense - the UX could be a bit nicer on the eyes or easier to understand, but there have never been any problems when using Concur Expense that I have had to ask or reach out to customer support to help me with anything.
This rating is solely based on information I've gotten for TripIt's self-help options. I've never had to contact them directly for support. Nonetheless, their online FAQ and knowledgebase have provided answers to all the questions I've had, including the lack of a boarding pass feature that I mentioned earlier in my review. All in all, I've had no issues here.
My Seniors were the ones who taught me about Concur. Concur Support team has sent me training links and answered me in their tickets too. Usually they are helpful and knows their stuff. There are times when webex meetings is conducted for reporting training. They were very patient and took down all the details from me.
The person on the online training was very through and helped us with all questions. The trainer was excellent—very knowledgeable, engaging, and easy to understand. If you'd like, I can tailor it for a formal evaluation or add specific strengths
There are different implementation teams for each module of the product you purchase, so implementation is not a 'one size fits all' environment. Also, the different implementation teams have different ways of doing things, so Concur could stand some standardization and streamlining in this area. A Project Manager can make or break an implementation so don't be scared to ask for a new one if things are rocky.
Sirion One has very limited functionality. SAP Concur goes seamlessly with SAP. It generates the SAE file, which feeds the GL Posting. SAP Concur has huge network of all the travel partners providing multiple options and range depending on organization strategy. It is easily linked with Outlook calendar, prompting user for all travel related activities and news.
I haven't evaluated any others. I have been happy with TripIt so I have not felt the need to find others. I am not really aware of any others. I might eventually looks at others if TripIt stops coming up with enhancements. I have no plans to search yet.
This program has been very helpful, user friendly and has been a great asset to use to assist with time management. Not only are leadership involved with using this program but all staff as well. This is also a great way to hold each accountable. Easy startup with not many means for hands on training
It makes the entire process of expense management crystal clear and thus helps in maintaining the trust of the employees, and thereby having good rapport of the company among the employees.
It helps in detecting the duplicate bills, thereby saving lots of money of the company.
It also helps in payment audits and thereby it helps in improving the overall process.
