It is very helpful for what I do where I handle the travel for multiple departments, the process is fairly streamlined so I can quickly go between multiple expense reports and complete them when I have 9 travelers who just got back and they all want their expense report filed and their reimbursement processed

Kofax PaperPort is great for any office that has paper documents - seriously! We have set up multiple businesses to use Kofax PaperPort to cut down their storage of paper receipts, invoices, documents, etc by nearly 90%! Their office is much better organized and they have the ability to edit PDF Documents for a lot cheaper than buying Adobe Acrobat.

With Kofax PaperPort, documents can be merged, pages can be extracted from multiple documents and combined to make a new PDF document. It is an important feature as one needs to do it very often and more ubiquitous pdf readers like Adobe Acrobat Reader DC lacks functionalities like these.
Kofax PaperPort scans the documents and using it's OCR, converts these scans to searchable PDF documents so that these documents can be searched based on the text content in them.
Functionality to convert other formats to PDF and PDF to other formats. This is important as many times , we need to upload certain documents only in a specific format and conversion is required to and from PDF format.

It is not very straightforward on how to add in loyalty programs. I've had several instances where my loyalty programs don't carry through with my booking
Expense reports are tedious to build, especially when you have several expenses to enter from a company trip
The new AI functions for reading uploaded receipts has never worked for me, requiring me to do it manually anyways

Now that we are fully on Concur, switching is not an option. Concur has become ingrained in our expense reporting process. Furthermore, Concur continues to improve its offering. Each month, they release updates and changes, many of which were client requested. Concur's constant evolution means it is adapting with my business

PaperPort has a few quirks, but it is the only program of its kind that actually does what it claims to do. The power of it is so much more than they claim especially when it comes to trying to achieve a truly paperless office. With PDF editing built-in, it also saves considerable investment in other PDF editing programs.

This is the best solution for large companies where time is very important. SAP, with strict regulations, makes it easy to identify non-compliant expenses and reduces manual effort by 40% in report preparation. Also reduces approval time by 30%. Many features are automated, and it has features for multilingual and multicurrency handling.

For us, it's only focusing processes that we're already doing... creating folders, placing scanned files into those folders, then searching for and opening up those files later, as needed. It just helps us view everything in one place - very convenient. Further, being able to drag non-native files to their corresponding source app for editing (Word, Excel, etc) is pretty nice.

In prior years I would have given them a 9.5 for availability. Unfortunately in 2015 so far this rating has dropped to a 7 overall. We have experienced far too many interruptions - from admins to employees who rely on it for day to day booking of travel and submission of expense reports. Server errors, slow system response time and spinning wheels are too common place. Those things should be a rare occurrence, not a daily interruption.
While Conur still has great product offerings overall, they are currently not offering world class or best in class product (and customer service) availability. Remaining hopeful they step up and get their A game going again soon.

Performance-wise, it's good, loads pages quickly, and reports are highly accurate and easy to understand. Also, we can generate custom reports as needed, and we have integrated with a few other apps, and we have not seen any downgrade in performance.

I have never had to use customer support when using Concur Expense - the UX could be a bit nicer on the eyes or easier to understand, but there have never been any problems when using Concur Expense that I have had to ask or reach out to customer support to help me with anything.

My Seniors were the ones who taught me about Concur. Concur Support team has sent me training links and answered me in their tickets too. Usually they are helpful and knows their stuff. There are times when webex meetings is conducted for reporting training. They were very patient and took down all the details from me.

There are different implementation teams for each module of the product you purchase, so implementation is not a 'one size fits all' environment. Also, the different implementation teams have different ways of doing things, so Concur could stand some standardization and streamlining in this area. A Project Manager can make or break an implementation so don't be scared to ask for a new one if things are rocky.

Expensify and Zoho Expense work for small and mid-size businesses. Big multinationals do not receive benefits from the apps. Coupa is good as a solution for organizations with non-SAP leading systems. If you plan to use SAP ERP as the main/lending system then SAP Concur is the best solution, mainly for its native integration with SAP ecosystem.

I was ecstatic to see someone moving PaperPort away from Nuance (Those in my circle of friends refer to them as Nuisance). The lack of customer involvement by Nuance made finding answers to things that sometimes irritate a user to being downright frustrating. Maybe the purchase of Nuance by Microsoft will allow the company to focus more on the customer.
This program has been very helpful, user friendly and has been a great asset to use to assist with time management. Not only are leadership involved with using this program but all staff as well. This is also a great way to hold each accountable. Easy startup with not many means for hands on training

It makes the entire process of expense management crystal clear and thus helps in maintaining the trust of the employees, and thereby having good rapport of the company among the employees.
It helps in detecting the duplicate bills, thereby saving lots of money of the company.
