Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
ADP is one of our centralized HRISs that all employees use. This serves as our main data hub for employee information as well as an employee portal for people to access their tax documents, request time off, look at their paystubs, etc. Every employee has their own profile, and our company currently sits at around 1,200 employees. Finally, our HR teams use the tool for some more analytics, DEI metrics, and scheduling.
- Easy to navigate from a user standpoint.
- All-in-one package for essential HR functions.
- Simple process to update and access information.
- Access levels and approvals restrict the necessary parts of the platform.
- Great support, never crashes either.
- The interface is kind of clunky and old-school looking.
- I feel like the category labels could be more clear about what they actually are/do.
- A page listing out the approval process to gain access to certain info would be nice, that way people know who to reach out to.
- Made it easy for people to both access and change their information when necessary.
- Took the guess work out of time off, pay, scheduling, and hiring activities.
- Allowed us to attract a larger talent pool and streamline the hiring process.
- Increased visibility and made DEI metrics much more attainable.

BambooHR was integrated into ADP primarily because we use Bamboo to track certain data as well as track Performance Management. The integration was not difficult to achieve, but it wasn't as deep as we would have hoped. The data synced between both systems nicely, but the PM side of things really just stayed in BambooHR. I believe we are actually getting rid of Bamboo soon for that reason. We integrated Pyn seamlessly with ADP to enhance our notification system to work better through various channels such as emails, Slack, and Lucidchart/Spark. No difficulties with that integration at all.
Between the different HRISs and ATSs I have had experience with, ADP is probably the most robust. It is pretty difficult to find a system that incorporates all the essential HR functions (people data, time and attendance, PM, ATS, etc) and does it all seamlessly for large organizations. Most of the other tools that I have used were missing at least one component of the ones I mentioned, but ADP has it all and does each component well. A lot of systems are prettier and less clunky in terms of the look and feel, but in terms of capabilities, ADP is head and shoulders above a lot of the other HR tools out there.
